Blogging

Blogging is almost like flogging with the slow internet service that "wireless" provides in Colorado. Is it like this all over the world? Sprint is not service-oriented, yes I have Sprint. Broadband- it was great, wireless is a dud- get that Sprint? I am not a geek, and us non-geeks need a good service, so we can actually enjoy blogging again. Please???

Almost New Moon

Tomorrow is a new moon, it is in Sagittarius. All new moons are powerful for new programs, ideas, babies~ virtually anything new! Feel the newness of yourself and how you can renew anytime, any month, any year... whenever you are ready. I will be attending ANEW this week- it is a networking women's group for EXCEPTIONAL WOMEN, I always think of myself anew when I attend this group. I also RENEW myself every day, always learning new things, ways of being, and giving myself a new space to simply have an open mind. Professionally, as well as personally renewing is living life "new" every day! New moons are special, because we have new options and choices open to us from The Universe, our Creator, God! (Goddess, if you prefer...)

Friday the 13th

Every year has at least one Friday the 13th, this year has 3! Here are the years with 3: 1998, 2009, 2012, 2015, 2026! 13 is a lucky number, and to have 3 in one year makes these years triple lucky also! Some people avoid this number, thinking it is an unlucky number~ even buildings avoid naming the 13th floor, instead skip from 12th to 14th floor, or suites in a hotel, condo, ofice or apartment avoid having a number 13 on the door. This is silly, since 13 is so lucky. If we call it blessed, instead of lucky, maybe this number will get more respect...

V Day

Veterans Day honors all those who have served in the military~ here is the meaning behind its exact date (November 11)~ In 1918, in the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, a stop to hostilities was declared, ending World War I. An Armistice to cease the fighting on the Western Front was signed between All the Allied Forces and Germany.
President Woodrow Wilson immediately proclaimed the day "Armistice Day," the annual commemoration on November 11. Over the years, with our Veterans also returning from World War II and the Korean War, Armistice Day became Veterans Day — a day reserved to honor veterans returning from all wars. 11/11 still represents the end of the Great War, and All Veterans from All wars are honored on this day. Thank You All for defending and protecting our freedom, liberty and Constitution!

Prayer

Lord, make me an instrument of Thy Peace
Where there is hatred, let me sow Love
Where there is injury, Forgiveness
Where there is discord, Unity
Where there is doubt, Faith
Where there is error, Truth
Where there is despair, Hope
Where there is sadness, Joy
Where there is darkness, Light
Grant that I may not seek to be consoled as to console
To be understood as to understand
To be loved as to love
For it is in giving that I receive
It is in pardoning that I am pardoned
And it is in dying that I am born to eternal life.
