The 1st Friday 13th of the new year-2012! This year there are 3 Friday the 13th's, which makes 2012 have triple luck! Are you feeling lucky? I sure am! Freya is the Norse goddess who Friday is named for, and 13 is her lucky number. Freya means Lady, as a fertility goddess, she is linked to the full moon. Furthermore, Cancer is her sign, and we are still in the energies of the Cancer full moon. It is said that when Freya cries, her tears turn to gold over the land & amber over the water, as they fall to the earth. Her necklace holds 4 stones of amber in gold, it is called the jewel whose power cannot be resisted- Brisingamen. Brising means fire- the fire of the enlightened mind, men means jewel. The winter constellation, Orion was called "Freya's Gown" by the Norse, the stars of Orion's belt is her girdle, or her crown, depending on the source of the legend- these are ancient legends. She rides a chariot drawn by blue cats given to her by Thor and takes fallen warriors to her palace in Valhalla. She is a goddess of beauty, truth, love, fertility and wealth. That's Lucky! The 1st Full Moon of 2012 is in the sign of Cancer. It was very big and yellow tonight. It is called the Wolf Moon. The wolves may be at the door most years at this time of year, due to the snow and cold, but this year, there have been record warm temperatures here in Colorado. The snow on the ski slopes in the moutains is minimal so far, this year. The wolves may be howling at the moon, but the cold is not biting, making them not so hungry as there is plenty of food for them outside. The squirrels and other small animals are still scurrying around.

Happy 2012! This is THE YEAR we all have been waiting for! Yes, we have been waiting for EONS! The Mayan Calendar, which was discovered in the ruins of the Mayan Pyramids of Mexico in the 60's is the impetus for this year, leading up to 12-21-12, when the Mayan Calendar ends. This, then is thought to be the end of the world, since the Mayans could not fit anything else on this megolith stone tablet! Of course, it is NOT the end of the world, but the beginning of a much BETTER world for us all! We are free of the Mayan Calendar on 12-21-12, and the next type of timekeeping will be much improved.

Even the Gregorian Calendar, which is what the world uses now, will be upgraded, and refined for the betterment of all the world. The Gregorian Calendar was decreed by Pope Gregory in 1582 because the Julian Calendar had drifted out of sync 10 days. The Gregorian calendar is so precise in tracking the solar year is is only off 26 seconds per year, it takes 3,323 years for the calendar to drift one day.
The deficiency of the Gregorian Calendar is that it is only tracking time from a solar perspective and has very little regard for any other cycles and seasons. This is evident when we consider our current calendric system arbitrarily begins on January 1 each year, which is 2 weeks after the winter solstice so it is not directly connected to a solar gateway. By creating a calendar that tracks the solar cycle it has the effect of fixating our consciousness on a very linear reality including the added benefit of connecting it to commerce as well…like when to pay taxes. The end result is a calendar that is a series of numbers in months of varying numbers of days that tell us what time it is in a primarily linear fashion.

We currently are not only linear people, we are now multidimensional beings, therefore it is fundamental that our calendric system be again upgraded to include the solar cycle, as well as other important cycles. Happy New Year!

The Geminids & Mercury Direct

Today, the Geminids are in the night sky, and Mercury goes direct, after being retrograde for 3 weeks. The meteors from the Geminid shower are slow moving in December and peak on Dec 13-14, with the highest intensity in the early morning of Dec 14. This shower seems to be intensifying every year and recent showers have 120–160 meteors/hour with optimal conditions, around 2am to 3am local time. Geminids were first observed only 150 years ago, much more recently than other showers such as the Perseids and Leonids. In those days, the Geminid meteor showers, arriving so close to Christmas, were revered by people as signs of peace and the prophecy of rebirth, some thought the Geminids brought fear, representing cleansing the human experience by our creator. With Mercury going direct and forward, maybe there was some Mercurial technique of how we have always been and continue to be "guided to our Soul," since Mercury, or Hermes, is known as "The Guide of Souls." Also known as the "Divine Trickster" giving the ability to coordinate, organize, put things together, understand the whole and the parts, seeing the process and the larger cycles of life. The better to see what is really important during this season!

Spooky night it is tonight! BOO! The weather has been great here for the little trick or treaters! Usually it snows, but we had that last week. Sorry for the people in the northeast, who got a terribe snowstorm and since power lines were down, they had to cancel all the Halloween activities. Maybe they will have them next week. After leading tours through the town promoted as "America's Most Haunted City" for a few years, I've heard, and occasionally seen first-hand, all the ways that spirits make their presence known. Using some of the well-known ghost stories of Savannah, GA, along with some imaginative "specter-lation," here's a breakdown of ghosts by their Sun signs, and their likely haunting style.
Aries Don't stand too close to the fire with an Aries specter afoot. Beastly faces appear in the flames, and a random flame singes off your eyebrows. Candles are mysteriously blown out, only to be re-lit moments later, the smoke still rising off the wicks. This ghost asserts dominance, won't want to peacefully co-habitate with the living, and is not easily appeased.
Taurus With the memory of its earthly earthiness, this ghost makes tree branches reach out and grab you, or ground roots wrap firmly around your ankles. One trick is making the ground sink under you, absorbing your body into the landscape. Taurus ghosts send all kinds of smells wafting through the air, for good and ill. While some use this as a weapon, to chase you away, others send a comforting message. One of my friends smells apple pie baking from time to time in her apartment, for example.
Gemini With the Gemini ghost, listen for disembodied voices, perhaps with pieces of a tragic story to tell. This specter might etch letters on the wall, as one ghost in Savannah did, on the brick chimney. The letters were SCR NW -- can you guess the message? Always eager to communicate, this ghost will ring the phone, only to lose their nerve when the living pick up. They'll also be just as frightened of the embodied, as you are of them!
Cancer At the four-star Kehoe House B & B in Savannah, a motherly ghost will tuck you in at night, or give you a Goodnight kiss. The Cancer ghost has a sentimental streak and may have emotional ups and downs. Here's the one that sobs at night, or has a fit of the giggles under a full Moon. Children can easily see this specter's moony face, which has a bluish glow. This ghost gives great hugs.
Leo At the Marshall House, a Union officer greets hotel guests in the lobby, dressed in full regalia. A Leo ghost will wear the adornments and high fashion of his or her era. They'll also appear in their prime, as if frozen at their peak in life. One theory is that ghosts show images through telepathy, and a Leo ghost goes the extra mile for good PR. Such a regal spirit being shows up at holiday and birthday parties, galas, and the monster mash.
Virgo During Sherman's occupation of Savannah, the Marshall House was a hospital for the Union army. And guests say there's a nurse still making her rounds, pressing her hand firmly across the forehead to take soldiers' temperatures. The Virgo ghost haunts the workplace, just trying to carry on with their duties. One former bank employee of 30 years, still opens the vault doors of the safe, but only for those that follow procedure to the letter! The helpful Virgo apparition returns small missing items so your day will flow better.
Libra At the Owens-Thomas house, "The Horseman" walks through walls, and strikes a pose by the fireplace. Seen by three men at a cocktail party once, all remarked on his dashing looks and mid 19th-century riding finery. The Libra ghost may appear as a luminous being, and likely hovers above the ground. Listen for the sound of clinking glasses, as with toasting, or that of a distant pianoforte, as Libra knows how to entertain in the afterlife.
Scorpio There are Western medieval legends of demons that come in the night with one lusty goal in mind. The incubus (male) and succubus (female) took hold in the imaginations of those obsessed with sex as sinful. The evolved Scorpio spirit would never overtake another psychically. But a disturbed one potentially has the power to do all kinds of dastardly deeds. Some might end up as energy vampires, preying on those with weak auras. A compassionate one warns living friends of hidden dangers, or helps solve a mystery by dropping clues on the path.
Sagittarius This playful apparition has a way with animals, especially horses. Dogs and cats following air around the room are watching the antics of the Sagittarian spirit. Sagittarius is truly the "friendly ghost," striking up an immediate rapport with the living, and causing minimal fright. This ghost travels through time, curious about other cultures and eras. If a random spirit goes through a wormhole, and shows up on the other side of the world, it's likely a Sadge.
Capricorn The Capricorn ghost may not do his own haunting, but assign this task to underlings. At the Dresser-Palmer House, one woman woke to see white-capped maids from another era, who sternly asked her to leave this instant. "Mr. Palmer is very angry with you!" they said. The ghost of the prosperious, authoritative Mr. Palmer had spectral staff to do his bidding! Listen for the sound of gold coins being counted, like at the Olde Pink House, circa 1771, and perhaps it's the worldly weath of an otherwordly Capricorn.
Aquarius When a streetlight flickers on and off in Savannah, it's not blamed on bad wiring -- a ghost is saying hello! Aquarius ghosts use electricity more than most, sending elevators up and down with phantom riders, and blinding people with a sudden high-wattage beam. At the Juliette Gordon Low birthplace (founder of the Girl Scouts), staff has constant trouble with adding machines and computers turning on and off. Some ghosts love technology, and maybe they're just curious about these newfangled devices.
Pisces An etheric being in life, the Pisces ghost has a shimmery glow, along with exquisite celestial sound effects. Some jump up and down to be guardian angels, making their presence known in subtle, loving ways. The face in the water is definitely a Pisces apparition, along with illusory morphing of your own reflection in the mirror or a window. Orionid Meteor Shower

The Orionids are here! The meteors have been visible since last night in the northern hemisphere. They are derived from their radiant, near the constellation, Orion (one of my favorites). The belt of Orion constellation is made up of 3 stars which exactly line up with the 3 pyramids of Giza, as well as other pyramids in the Mayan ruins.

WEEKEND METEOR SHOWER: The Orionid meteor shower peak on Saturday, Oct. 22nd, when Earth passed through a stream of debris from Halley's comet. As many as 26 meteors per hour are visible from rural areas, according to the International Meteor Organization.

On the Autumn Equinox, Night is equal to Day, Dark is equal to Light= BALANCE! It is always very interesting to me that every year at this time, the Sun is in the sign of Libra, the BALANCED Scales! The balanced scales of Justice, for example, stiking the right balance for the highest good of everyone involved. The ancients really knew what they were doing! Yes, we have technology and education, etc but they had the stars, sun, moon, planets, nature and each other to keep them balanced, in peace, harmony & fairness, always moving forward. At this equinox, the sun rises directly in the east and sets directly in the west (equal). In the northern hemisphere, before the autumn equinox, the sun begins to rise and set more and more to the north, and afterward, it begins to rise and set more and more to the south. The Autumn Equinox begins at 00 Libra, a time souls seek balance. This picture is celebrating two Goddesses- Liberty and Luna! The full moon closest to the Autumn Equinox is called the Harvest Moon, because all harvesting is usually done by the equinox, getting the earth ready for resting in fall and winter. This harvest moon is very close and bright! It was really bright for my night drive to Denver- showing me the way! This time of year is perfect for moon-watching. New 911 Memorial

Prayers for 9-11 have been written & repeated every year now for 10 years. This decade has been the decade of pain, mourning and grief.
Today, the mayor and president will not even allow prayers to be said at the 10th Anniversary of 9-11! Also, they have limited gratitude or remembrance of the 400 firefighters and police officers that were killed while saving others. This has been called a clergy ban, or religion ban by some in the media. That's too bad, many religious leaders of many faiths have stood at ground zero and wept while saying prayers, including the Pope. We Americans are a faithful people- this ban is an unspeakable injustice to us all!
Ground Zero is only a zero to the politicians; it is Hero Ground to all of us Americans who felt and still feel today the stinging pain of an incalculable loss- the loss of thousands of innocent people, as well as hundreds of rescuers- our Heros of 9-11.

Vacation or Staycation?

Which do you prefer- vacation or staycation? I am currently on vacation, I vacated my city and traveled to another to visit and see the sights (in Florida). I am also attending a fun party and going to theme parks and the beach! Most of my time off, however, I must admit is spent on staycation. Staying home in my house or staying within my own city. My staycations are usually filled with activities, but sometimes I just have a spa day at home. You know, stay in bed all morning, get a massage, go out for brunch or lunch (depending on how long I sleep), do some gardening, or other at home creative project. Have time for friends that I hardly ever see anymore, visit family, or just run errands that have been on my list forever...

Back from the mountains, ready for the beach! In between I will be moving my office location... not exactly what I would call a vacation, but I am excited to be moving forward and upgrading! And he sat around the Legion, telling stories of the past

Of a war that he had fought in and the deeds that he had done,

In his exploits with his buddies; they were heroes, every one.

And tho' sometimes, to his neighbors, his tales became a joke,

All his Legion buddies listened, for they knew whereof he spoke.

But we'll hear his tales no longer for old Bill has passed away,

And the world's a little poorer, for a soldier died today.

He will not be mourned by many, just his children and his wife,

For he lived an ordinary and quite uneventful life.

Held a job and raised a family, quietly going his own way,

And the world won't note his passing, though a soldier died today.

When politicians leave this earth, their bodies lie in state,

While thousands note their passing and proclaim that they were great.

Papers tell their whole life stories, from the time that they were young,

But the passing of a soldier goes unnoticed and unsung.

Is the greatest contribution to the welfare of our land

A guy who breaks his promises and cons his fellow man?

Or the ordinary fellow who, in times of war and strife,

Goes off to serve his Country and offers up his life?

A politician's stipend and the style in which he lives

Are sometimes disproportionate to the service that he gives.

While the ordinary soldier, who offered up his all,

Is paid off with a medal and perhaps, a pension small.

It's so easy to forget them for it was so long ago,

That the old Bills of our Country went to battle, but we know

It was not the politicians, with their compromise and ploys,

Who won for us the freedom that our Country now enjoys.

Should you find yourself in danger, with your enemies at hand,

Would you want a politician with his ever-shifting stand?

Or would you prefer a soldier, who has sworn to defend

His home, his kin and Country and would fight until the end?

He was just a common soldier and his ranks are growing thin,

But his presence should remind us we may need his like again.

For when countries are in conflict, then we find the soldier's part

Is to clean up all the troubles that the politicians start.

If we cannot do him honor while he's here to hear the praise,

Then at least let's give him homage at the ending of his days.

Perhaps just a simple headline in a paper that would say,

Our Country is in mourning, for a soldier died today.

Enjoy today and Thank a Veteran/Soldier! They are responsible for the many freedoms we have in our great country, USA! That is why we memorialize these Heros on Memorial Day. Go to a National Cemetery and notice the headstones- most of our Warriors who gave their life were very young, notice that they also teach us about time, and timelessness!

No Doomsday, No Rapture

No doomsday or rapture yet... we are all still here! It is true that NO ONE knows the day or the time of the end of this world, or even the end of our own life, let alone anyone else's. The good preacher who wrongfully predicted this day as the end of days, is also still here- so far. Personally, I don't look to others for prophecy, since I have enough intuition to make my own prophecies, if I were so inclined- as do we all. It takes intense focus & concentration to be in touch with your inner self and your Highest Good or God. Not very many people want to have that level of focus from what I can tell. Most people don't even have the desire to attain the focus. Intuition is a natural ability, and is also a natural investment, and needs to be practiced, perfected, protected and tested often. The rewards are great, as in living life to the full, instead of predicting death to the world.

Medicines of Light: Protection and Healing from Radiation Poisoning, Neurotoxins, Bacteria and Viruses. from the Hathors of Venus via Tom Kenyon posted 3/16/11 With the earthquake in New Zealand, followed by the earthquake in Japan, it is clear that you have entered a more complex phase of the Chaotic Node. We wish to impart a method for protection and healing from radiation poisoning as well as other physical conditions. We call this Medicines of Light.This is obviously related to current events unfolding in Japan, however, as future earth changes unfold, you may face similar challenges in your near future from other locations around the world. This method will assist you to both protect and heal yourself from exposure, not only to radioactivity, but also to neurotoxins and to mutating forms of bacteria and viruses. From our perspective you can expect to see an increase of these in your near timeline. The method involves connecting to your Celestial Soul, the BA. This action is to connect to the realms of light that are a part of your being. Everything that exists in your cosmos can be viewed as a qualification or energetic expression of light-even your densest forms of matter are essentially a form of light. In this method you connect to your Celestial Soul, holding the intent and expectation that it will impart to you an energetic that protects and/or heals you. You send this intent to your Celestial Soul with the emotional vibration of appreciation or gratitude. This is simply the vibrational resonance that activates this higher aspect of your being. Once you send this intent conjoined with appreciation or gratitude to your BA, you shift your awareness into your heart chakra, receiving the energetic of healing or protection into the heart chakra. You might experience this energetic as a form of light, or as geometric patterns, or you may feel the sensation of a descent of energy. You may also experience this energetic simply as a thought/feeling. Once the energetic is received in the heart chakra, it is ready to send. For this phase you will need some pure water, since water holds this type of information extremely well. Holding a container of water in your hands, through intent, you send this energy that is in the heart chakra down the arms into the hands and through the chakras that are in the center of each palm. The energetic enters the water through this pathway. We suggest you amplify this energetic by repeating the procedure three times, for a total of three times-two more times in addition to the first. You then drink the water. The water permeates the water element of your body, and the healing and protective qualities eventually enter every cell. Through this action you are qualifying light, causing it to descend through the central pathway of your body into your heart and sending it into the water element. The consciousness of the water receives this energetic, and when you drink it, the body receives it. If you find yourself in a situation where you have been exposed to radioactivity you would engage this procedure as we have described it, qualifying the energy that descends from the BA to protect and heal you from any possibility of radiation poisoning. If you have other means to protect yourself, you should obviously engage these as well, but even if you are left with nothing but the tools of your own consciousness, you can protect and heal yourself. If you have been exposed to neurotoxins you would do the same. If you are in the midst of an epidemic that involves bacterial or viral infections, we advise you to do the same. As you collectively enter more deeply into this more complex and intense phase of the Chaotic Node, bacteria and viruses will mutate faster. This method will allow you to protect and heal yourself from these mutating life forms. It is important to understand that you are creating the protection and healing through the powers of your own consciousness. You have direct access to your own light realms. You have the sovereign right to engage the light realms on your own behalf and on the behalf of your loved ones. If you find yourself in one of these difficult situations we have described, we suggest you take the Medicine of Light-which is the water that you have charged-several times a day, as your intuition guides you. The physical ramifications of the earthquake activity in Japan and the resulting tsunami are very difficult to deal with. But we wish to shift our attention from the physical to the mental, emotional, and spiritual effects created by such a disaster, Due to the fact that you are in a Chaotic Node and energies from deep space conjoined with solar flare activity are affecting your energy bodies, you, as a collective, are more affected. What we mean by this is that witnessing the suffering of your fellow humans shatters the heart. There is a recognition that their predicament could easily be yours. This recognition can create an opening in your heart, and it is through the heart-your heart-that higher states of consciousness are realized, and so the earthquake in Japan is, in many ways, an earthquake of the collective heart. The times before you are not easy. From our perspective, increased earth changes are upon you. But one result of such events is that you are shaken to your roots and the mass hypnosis pauses for a moment. And in such utter and surrealistic devastation, many of you see very clearly that your civilization rests on tenuous grounds. We mean this both literally and figuratively. And so our advice for this phase of the Chaotic Node is to learn and master the ability to create Medicines of Light for yourself, so that when the time arises, you know how to engage this power of protection and healing that you possess in your very nature. And we suggest you navigate through these times not only with your minds, but with your hearts-and let your hearts be touched, for it is through your hearts that you will ascend the spiral pathway to your own greatness. Tom's Thoughts and ObservationsI have been channeling the Hathors for about twenty years now and started posting their Planetary Messages in February of 2003. And in all that time I have never sensed in them such an urgency to post one of their communications. Usually, I am given several days to dwell on and contemplate their messages before writing my comments. But that luxury does not exist in this moment. They have asked Judi and me to post this particular message as soon as possible, and so I will make my comments brief and to the point. The central message here is that all human beings have the ability to create what the Hathors call Medicines of Light. And this type of medicine has an inherent capability and potential to protect and heal us not only from radioactive poisoning, but also from the effects of neurotoxins, as well as bacterial and viral infections. The method is simple and to the point. Since some of you reading this may be new to the whole idea of a Celestial Soul (or BA), let me clarify its location and how to engage it. The BA, or Celestial Soul, is an aspect of your own consciousness that is outside the constraints of time and space. Some of you might refer to the Celestial Soul as the Higher Self. But whatever you call it, your Celestial Soul exists in what the Hathors call the light realms, and this aspect of you is engaged whenever you send it appreciation or gratitude. Your BA does not have a location in time and space since it is transcendent to both. But it does have an entry point to your energy field, which is about arm's distance above your head. If you were to raise your hands over your head and touch your fingertips together, your fingers would be in the vicinity of this entry point. And this is where you place your attention in the first phase of their method for creating a Medicine of Light. (Do note that placing of your hands above your head is only for orientation purposes. You do not actually put your hands over your head when creating the Medicines of Light). Once you place your awareness in the area of your BA point, you hold in your mind the qualification of light you wish to receive. Let's say, for example, that you have been, or will be, exposed to dangerous forms of radioactivity and are in danger of radiation poisoning. After focusing your attention on your BA point above your head, hold the intent that the energy that descends from your BA will be an energetic of healing and/or protection from radiation poisoning. You then send the feeling of appreciation or gratitude upward from your heart chakra to the BA point above your head-as you hold the intent or qualification that the energetic imparted to you from your BA will protect and/or heal you from radiation poisoning. Next you shift your attention from your BA point to your heart chakra (in the center of your chest beneath the sternum) and then wait to receive the energetic of protection and healing from your BA. Those of you new to this may need to send the intent or qualification along with the feeling of appreciation or gratitude to your BA several times before you notice a response. But just keep sending this intention joined with the feeling of appreciation or gratitude upward to your BA until you feel a descent of energy. When you feel the descent of energy from your Celestial Soul, shift your awareness to your heart chakra. Allow your heart center to receive this energetic of protection and healing. You then place your hands around or over a container of pure water and send this energetic received from your Celestial Soul into the water. The energetic of healing and/or protection that has entered your heart center will move down your arms and into the water through the two chakras that are in the center of the palm of each hand. Repeat this process for a total of three times. Then drink the water. If you are in a precarious situation, the Hathors advise that you create a Medicine of Light several times a day and drink it according to your intuition. As the Hathors point out, Medicines of Light have many more applications than just protection and healing from radiation poisoning. You can use these to protect and/or heal yourself from neurotoxins, as well as bacterial and viral infections. Although they did not mention it, I asked the Hathors after they gave this message if the method would work for other physical challenges such as cancer. And they said that Medicines of Light could most definitely be created in the same way to deal with this type of situation-as well as others. Obviously, if you are dealing with a serious situation such as radiation poisoning, exposure to neurotoxins, and/or epidemics of bacterial and viral infections, you will want to avail yourself of all medical remedies. In other words, this method is not meant to replace medical or public health solutions, but is meant to be an adjunct, something you can do yourself-for yourself. After giving their message, I asked the Hathors about making Medicines of Light for those who are unable to do it for themselves, like children and pets. They said that you would use the same method, except for the fact that you would qualify the intent for the child or animal you are going to give the Medicine to. For example, if you were creating a Medicine of Light to protect or heal yourself from radiation poisoning, you would send the thought that the energetic you are going to receive from your Celestial Soul is for your own personal protection or healing. If you were going to do this for a child or a pet, you would send the thought that the energetic you are going to receive from your Celestial Soul is for the protection or healing of the being you are going to give the Medicine to, i.e. your child or your pet. It is here that I would like to interject something. It is far better to teach someone how to create a Medicine of Light than to create a dependency. The ability to create Medicines of Light is an inherent ability in all human beings. It is part of our multidimensional legacy. And to empower someone to do this for him or her self is a service to his or her mastery. I would personally hate to see this method being used by "healers" to create Medicines of Light for others under the guise that they have some special powers that others do not. This method for creating Medicines of Light is a human birthright, and my feeling is that it should be shared with all persons. There is much that I would like to share about this simple method for creating Medicines of Light, but philosophical and metaphysical observations will have to wait for another time. The Hathors are insistent that we post this information and circulate it as quickly as is possible.

Used for healing, preserving, and many other things, they are as ancient as it gets- as well as modern as it will be in the future! The Nine Underworlds of the Cosmos and their corresponding levels of Consciousness

According to ancient Mayan beliefs the Cosmos was made up by Nine Underworlds. Thus, in the Far East Nine-storied pagodas are commonly occurring, among the Jews there were Nine doors to the holiest part of the Temple and there are Nine arms of the Hanukkah candelabra. Among the Muslims the Holy month of Ramadan is the Ninth month of the year and in Viking mythology the Cosmos was described as being composed by Nine worlds. Thus people in different parts of the world all symbolically expressed the holiness of the number Nine. Maybe then there is some kind of universal truth underlying this number, some profound reason that it has independently in different cultures come to be considered as holy. When the Christian missionaries heard about the Nine Underworlds of the Maya they interpreted these as Hells, but this seems to be way off the mark. If these were Hells, or some locations below the surface of the earth as some have inferred, why then would the Mayan kings have climbed to the top of these supposed Hells to perform sacred rituals on the pyramids. Rather than a hierarchical structure of Hells the Mayan pyramids were viewed as World Mountains - symbols of the Cosmos. And since we ourselves are living in the Cosmos it thus seems more reasonable that the Underworlds are located right here in the physical world "Below" - where we ourselves are living our lives. Why then Nine Underworlds? Why not just one Underworld? To answer this we need to look at the longer cycles of time described by the Maya and see how these conform to the facts and datings for key steps in Cosmic evolution provided by modern science. We should then first note that similarly to the pyramids raised by the Maya their calendrical system is also hierarchical in nature, and in the Table above there are Nine different time cycles linked to the 360-day year, the tun. A sequence of Thirteen such time periods would then make up a creation cycle of Thirteen Heavens with the specified durations. Thus, each of the Nine Underworlds was created through a sequence of Thirteen Heavens. To exemplify, the longest of the tun-based time cycles was the hablatun of 460 800 000 000 days = 1.26 billion years. Thirteen such hablatuns makes up a creation cycle of a total duration of 13 x 1.26 = 16.4 billion years that created the lowest, the first Underworld. This is a curious finding since this time period, 16.4 billion years, is very close to the age of the universe, 15 billion years, the time when matter first emerged from light (Big Bang) The beginning of the creation of the First Underworld thus coincides well with the current best estimate of the beginning of Creation. This is a fact with very far-reaching consequences, since it means that all we today know to exist - all that has come into existence in the universe since the Big Bang - is included in the time span of the most basic of the creation cycles, the cycle of thirteen hablatuns, which creates the first of the Nine Underworlds. Mayan calendrics and the Mayan cosmology of Nine Underworlds and Thirteen Heavens is thus a tool for exploring all of creation! Upon this the most basic of the Nine Underworlds, are then built eight other Underworlds each carrying and developing a special frame of consciousness for the life that it creates. In this way a hierarchical nine-leveled structure is created where lower levels of consciousness provide the foundation for new and higher levels. Each of these nine creation cycles thus gives rise to a specific Underworld and each of these Underworlds is characterised by a certain frame, or dimension, of consciousness. This frame of consciousness is then created in a series of thirteen steps, through the sequential influence of Thirteen Heavens. The beginnings of these sequences of Thirteen Heavens are marked by crucial events in cosmic evolution such as we know them from the datings of modern science, and such initiatory events are listed in the Table above At the present time we are beginning to enter the eighth level of consciousness of the cosmic pyramid, based on the foundation provided by the seven lower levels. This eighth level may be referred to as the galactic frame of consciousness as it will step by step lead humanity to identify primarily with the galaxy. Super Full Moon

In the media and news is a good story about tonight's Full Moon, which is a Super Moon due to the closeness and the magnified size in perigee. It will be larger than any other full moon in 18 years. This is indeed newsworthy, but stay tune for bigger news tomorrow, the Spring Vernal Equinox.

This Saturday's Full Moon Virgo will be as close as it gets to Earth -- called perigee, and in line with the Sun and Moon. Any New or Full Moon, that's very close to the Earth, is a Supermoon, according to the man who coined it thirty years ago, Richard Nolle.
Since it's come up in mainstream media, he clarified his definition of the Supermoon. We've already had one in January, and there are usually 4 to 6 a year.
Nolle writes, "SuperMoons are noteworthy for their close association with extreme tidal forces working in what astrologers of old used to call the sublunary world: the atmosphere, crust and oceans of our home planet - including ourselves, of course."
And look out, it's another Full Moon at the anaretic or last degree of 29! That means it's a wrap up for Virgo-Pisces - we get the master class now in these energies. The exquisitely subtle, the magic of universal healing forces - often there's a calling to be of service to something higher than the Self. It's an axis of devoting personal energies, to the highest good, that often comes with a humility of surrender.
Mutable Moons shake things up, and in this earth sign, opposite to water sign Pisces, that can mean more earth changes. It's also a chance to shift shape, to adapt, and feel the fluidity of the moment. There's the planetary body, and then there's your own body and its atmosphere. It's a chance to detox your air (thoughts), water (emotions), physical space (earth) or obstacles to living with passion (fire.)
I'm sensing the need to get stronger spiritually, and to fully consecrate myself, to live with the sacred and the Earth. I'm not sure what that means yet, but this Full Moon along the Virgo/Pisces axis is ideal for that kind of dedication. Sandra Ingerman wrote today about the need to flex the spiritual muscles, to meet the intensity of this moment.
She writes, "We must learn to honor the rite of passage and initiation that humankind is going through. We are experiencing levels of death on many levels. Death is not an end but rather is a transition." One of her books, by the way, is about How to Heal Toxic Thoughts.
Last night, I dreamt -- or was given instructions -- to prepare for emergency. The emergence is the birth, and more and more, I'm seeing the Earth cracking out of its egg (the crust). And seeing the miracle of it, in the midst of the tragedy. In my dream, I knew it wasn't about stocking up on more canned sardines (which I've done), but preparing mind-body-spirit -- the holistic atmosphere.
With the Virgo-Pisces Moon this Saturday, it's a chance to come back to your personal planet and its atmosphere, the state of your mind, body and spirit. If you're wanting to be a healing presence, what preparations and adjustments have to be made now? This Full Moon can be one of miracles, a cosmic alignment to your path of service.
In the days leading up to the Full Moon, tune in to your own atmosphere. Invite the healing energies, and surrender to them. I like simple rituals, like lighting a white 7-Day candle. I usually celebrate Valentine's Day on the Eve of Valentine's Day. The reason is not obscure- simply the celebration is less hectic when started early, and reservations are easier to get. In fact, I remember a particular Valentine Eve, when a snowstorm came in suddenly on the 13th, we couldn't get reservations for the 14th at a nice restaurant, but we got the 13th, due to the storm. When we arrived in our 4WD, we were the only ones in the entire place! Of course, not only did we recieve very special VIP service from the only waiter there, but the owner and the chef came out to talk to us and tell us how happy they were that we were there. We even offered them a ride home, due to the storm, but they said that they had to stay and get ready for the crowd they were going to have the next day.

The Healing of Medicine

Since I am intimately involved in this ongoing struggle between medicine and metaphysics, science and spirituality, being a medical professional, as well as having a passion for all of the above, I love this by Lynn Hayes in her blog, Astrological Musings:
"Chiron in Pisces: The Healing of Medicine"
It’s unusual to find an established medical professional talking about the supernatural and healing powers, but it coincides perfectly with the entry of Chiron into Pisces. At a time when the field of medicine is spiritually bankrupt and desperately in need of an overhaul, perhaps this infusion of spiritual awareness into the way we think about our physical bodies is emblematic of what Chiron in Pisces has to offer.
I like to think of Chiron as the “Soul Healer” rather than the wounded healer – Chiron is instrumental in helping to clear the emotional and physical wounds that we bring into this life so that the soul can progress. Chiron presides over the body/mind/spirit connection – the triad of influences that come together to make up the Human Being. Physical health alone is not sufficient to provide balance – the mind and spirit must also be well integrated in order to achieve optimum health.
Chiron was in Pisces in the late 1960s when Elisabeth Kubler Ross was waking up the medical establishment to a new sensitivity of death and the process of dying. Her book On Death and Dying was published in 1969 as Chiron was completing its passage through Pisces and helped to popularize the hospice care movement.
All of the talk today about health care reform is more about how to pay for health care than how to actually reform the health care system...
With Chiron in Pisces for the next nine years or so, the last stage of healing occurs at the soul level. This process began last year with the conjunction of Chiron and Neptune, the ruler of Pisces. Under this combination many of us were intensely aware of the longings of the soul within. Memories of past loves; mourning for those we’ve lost — all took on a more profound meaning as the doorway to the soul opened under Neptune’s guidance so that the healing of Chiron could begin to do its work. The Chironic healing process involves going back to the core wounds and exposing them to the air so that they can become healed. It’s not an easy process and requires a fair amount of courage, but when the healing is complete we gain a level of wisdom and cellular integration that is not otherwise possible.
While Chiron travels through Pisces there is a danger of falling into Piscean illusion which we often attempt as a shortcut on the way to spiritual bliss. Because of the tendency of Pisces to seek martyrdom and sacrifice, there is the danger of becoming lost IN the pain during the Chironic healing process rather than going THROUGH the pain as required. The Neptunian influence of Pisces tends to blur the boundaries of our relationships with others, so another danger of Chiron’s trip through Pisces is that of a codependent process of healing others rather than ourselves. Chiron represents the wound that we carry with us throughout our life – it never leaves us, which makes it tempting to try to heal the wounds of others instead. This kind of transference is not only ineffective, it can be dangerous and pollutes our relationships while preventing the soul integration that is necessary for our own healing. If we are careful not to get lost in the glamour that makes up the realm of Pisces and Neptune, there is tremendous potential during the Chiron trip through Pisces for a growing spiritual awareness and an integration of Universal consciousness into our own beings. This is the process that will carry us through any stress that results in the Cardinal alignments coming up over the next three years.
As our world shifts and changes around us, Chiron continues to facilitate the growing conversation between our inner Selves and the person that we think we are, enhancing our own experience of wholeness and, ultimately, bliss.
Bliss is not easily won in our physical world. The letting go of our individuality so that we can become reborn in the ecstasy of the divine is the lesson of Pisces, and in order to facilitate this transition we must release the individuality of Aquarius. Each sign of the zodiac leads into the next, and in this way we evolve in cycles through each turn of the wheel. This trip of Chiron through Pisces will coincide with the great social and global political clashes of Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Aries, suggesting that healing (Chiron) will come to us individually through a greater inward focus and attention to the spiritual side of life, a world that lies beyond the material plane. We all have Little Epiphanies when we "just know"! These are also called 'aha' moments, in the Jewish faith, they call this moment of "aha" a "kiss from God". This term is used in either a philosophical or literal sense to signify that the person has "found the last piece of the puzzle and now sees the whole picture," or has new information or experience, often insignificant by itself, that illuminates a deeper or numinous foundational frame of reference.

Well, today I just had that 'aha' moment and shared with my favorite children that I have now been alive 25 years past what anyone said was possible! Tomorrow, to be exact, is the day I died and had my own revelatory manifestation of a Divine Being~ Thank You for the memories!

America gives thanks today for all our blessings, bounty and freedoms! Lets Celebrate! We are The Americans- the first people ever to have a national holiday to give thanks!

George Washington was the first president to declare Thanksgiving as an American Holiday! During the American Revolution, the Continental Congress designated one or more days of thanksgiving a year, and in 1789 George Washington issued the first Thanksgiving proclamation by the national government of the United States; in it, he called upon Americans to express their gratitude for the happy conclusion to the country’s war of independence and the successful ratification of the U.S. Constitution. His successors John Adams and James Madison also designated days of thanks during their presidencies.

In November 1621, after the Pilgrims’ first corn harvest proved successful, Governor William Bradford organized a celebratory feast and invited a group of the fledgling colony’s Native American allies, including the Wampanoag chief Massasoit. Now remembered as American’s “first Thanksgiving”—although the Pilgrims themselves may not have used the term at the time—the festival lasted for three days. While no record exists of the historic banquet’s exact menu, the Pilgrim chronicler Edward Winslow wrote in his journal that Governor Bradford sent four men on a “fowling” mission in preparation for the event, and that the Wampanoag guests arrived bearing five deer.

Elder William Brewster, also mentioned at History.com and in the history books, was my ancestor who came over on The Mayflower. (born 1567, England—died April 1644, Plymouth, Mass.) leader of the Plymouth Colony in New England He accompanied the first group of Pilgrims on the Mayflower in 1620. William Brewster, the only university-trained member of the Plymouth community, was the real leader of the church. As its senior elder he dominated the formulation of its doctrines, worship, and practices. He was not a magistrate, but by virtue of his close association with the governor, William Bradford, he played a major role in civil as well as religious affairs. 7 Keys, 7 Universal Laws

THE SEVEN UNIVERSAL PRINCIPLES/LAWS
The words in the video inspire us because they resonate within at a very deep level. However the use of the word Magic in the title of this article should be properly understood. Magic in this context is not aligned with the word illusion but with the ability to invoke the forces that lie dormant within us all; forces that unite us with the 'All that is' - sometimes known as the Divine.
It strikes me however that the poetic, but archaic, text of The Kybalion (the book from which the Laws are taken) requires a more up-to-date translation. Much has already been made in the popular press of some of the laws i.e. The Law of Attraction, which is an amalgamation of the Principles of Correspondence and Vibration, but what about the other laws? How can we discover how they are working in our life and put them to use? Well you don't have to get all new-agey or start pacing out 5 pointed stars - although Harry Potter did have the number 7 on the back of his jacket because JK Rowling knows a thing or two about esoteric wisdom - but no, none of that. All you have to do is open your eyes and ears a little wider to the world around you and your interactions with it.
So, you may like to get hold of a nice new notebook. This shows commitment and willingness to dedicate yourself to recording your insights. Your pen will act as your magic wand because writing things down tends to impress them into the consciousness more strongly than just reading about them ever can. If you can commit each of the Laws to paper and follow my exercises below you are guaranteed to become more cognizant of how all seven of the laws permeate throughout your existence and shape your world.
One word of friendly warning though. Possessing knowledge of the keys requires intent, application, total honesty and most of all courage, because each key once turned will quite possibly take you into places you might at times prefer not to explore; your inner being.
If you persevere however you can use this information to transform your life from the ordinary to the extraordinary.
LAW 1: Mind (as well as elements and metals) may be transmuted from state to state; degree to degree; condition to condition; pole to pole; vibration to vibration. The All is Mind the Universe is Mental.
Here the message concerns the practice of Alchemy. The word Alchemy applies to manipulation of elements and substances in order to understand the constituents of nature. This practice continues today in laboratories all over the world but is now called Chemistry. However alchemy has a dual meaning - it also applies to the transmutation of the lower nature of the soul; the process of distilling the spiritual higher self, from the lower, coarser more slowly vibrating character.
The 1st Key is to understand that everything which happens in physicality is initiated at the level of the mind and it is the mind that produces our reality and the matter we encounter. If we take control of our thoughts (mind) and appreciate our interconnectedness to The Collective Mind, also known as the ALL; The Divine and even God, we can literally transmute - change - our life for the better.
Exercise: Try and separate what you observe from the person who is observing it. Where does that person reside? Are 'you' in your head, in your shoes, in your elbow? Where is the part of you that you call your personality? Looking at yourself and talking to yourself in a mirror often increases your awareness that your brain is housed in physical form, but 'you' are not. Read as many books about the power of the mind as you can. There are books available through the Spiritual Growth link on my newsletter, or take a look at The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy and A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle.
Write down a list of one thing you would like to draw into your life (leaving out money for now!) Start by getting clear about what it is you want - be it a person, condition or event. Use visualisation and written affirmations. Then, for a period of a week, write down all of the synchronicities or coincidences that have caught your attention during each day, regarding your initial desire. You may start to see TV adverts or overhear conversations; observe book titles or receive a phonecall, all of which in some way bring you closer to your desire - or appear to offer you clues as to how to move towards your goal. All these things will demonstrate to you that your thoughts are indeed beginning to attract the corresponding reality into your world. And, if that is so your mind must be connected to something beyond your brain!
The more you can recognise and believe that your thoughts are an energy that permeate everything in the Universe and are not boundaried by your skull, the more quickly you will feel empowered to start manifesting the conditions you need, and to change the things you thought were out of your control.
The secret is to know that your mind creates all the conditions you encounter and processes the way you perceive them. Every thought you have about someone, whether good or bad, is received and unconsciously acknowledged. This is a two-way street. When you are suddenly taken by a desire to call someone for example you can be sure that they were recently thinking of you too. Thus this is the Principle of Mentalism. It may also be called the Law of Pure Potentiality as all the laws are ultimately part of the ALL and the ALL encompasses everything that is.
LAW 2: As below, so above, as above, so below.
The 2nd Key is to appreciate that there is no separation. The Mind of the ALL flows through everything at every level of existence from the smallest to the largest and vice versa. If something is happening to you on Earth there will be a corresponding event in the Heavens AND at every level in between which is why the law is extended in Hermetic texts to include as within, so without. Whatever is happening within you will find a corresponding event outside of you - and vice versa. This is possibly one of the most difficult laws to understand but the teachings of Hermes Trismegistus assert that all information about a man can be found within a single drop of his blood and that within a man is a representation of the entire universe.

The secret is to know that everything you meet in life - everything - has a correspondence to something going on within you.

If you decide to take responsibility for your thoughts and what you are meeting you can never assign blame. Always see the world as if it is turning just for you. See that it is trying to show you where you are doing well and what you may need to pay a little more attention to in your life. Thus this key is also known as the Principle of Correspondence*.
*The as above so below also directly refers to planetary correspondences too but that is for another article.
LAW 3: Nothing rests. everything moves, everything vibrates:
The 3rd Key speaks of the frequencies that everything emits. All matter from your body to the chair that you sit on, the food you eat and the car that you drive is comprised of atoms moving (oscillating) at speeds that are invisible to our eyes. Vibration is also the mechanism that allows us to hear and see. Sound and light waves are just another form of vibrating energy. Everything we perceive is only the way it appears because that's how are brains are wired up to experience it. These speeds are not, however, invisible to what we commonly refer to as our sixth sense. This is the faculty that allows us to detect unseen energies and consciously raise and lower our vibration - we just need to give it attention.
'Where attention goes - energy flows'
In raising the natural vibration to a higher frequency, it has been found that one will attract people and events of a higher nature too. This happens through a process called Resonance. Think of the way you can turn a dial on a radio and pick up entirely different stations and programs simply by selecting a new frequency. The basic premise is exactly the same - you can see what vibration you must be sending out by noticing what you are receiving.
Exercise: When you meet someone for the first time, don't launch into immediate trivial chit chat. Take a breath and note what reactions you are feeling in your body. Do you feel jittery or calm? Do you feel uplifted or tired? Listen to the tone of their voice. What invisible information are you registering simply from the tonal quality of this person. Are they tired, stressed, happy? When we meet someone of a similar vibrational attunement we feel harmony - we feel good in their presence. We easily merge or blend with them and their energy. When there is a differing vibration we feel discordant - ill at ease.
Every single emotional reaction we have is just energy that is moving through us. So, if you work assiduously at recognising the feelings every encounter engenders in you, you will in time come to accurately know where your own vibrational level must presently be at. You'll instinctively know which activities, places and people raise you up and which lower you down. Again keep a diary or notebook until you start to automatically sense these invisible forces and feel empowered to use this knowledge to consciously change your own vibration in order to attract better circumstances.
The secret is that ‘like attracts like’ vibrations but high, light vibrations always transmute the lower, denser ones. So seek out uplifting books, people, events and even foods and avoid dark and dismal colours, people, attitudes and make the Law of Vibration work for you.
LAW 4: Everything is dual everything has its pair of opposites, like and unlike are the same opposites are identical in nature - just different in degrees.
The 4th Key is to know that everything has two ends but we must stop looking at everything as being linear - that is, as if it is measurable on a scale like a ruler. In truth everything is circular and there is no separation between the two ends. What goes around will eventually come around!
The Earth is round; our cells ; the cycles of nature, are all round. Nothing is straight. Opposites are identical in nature because at some juncture in a circle they must be joined together or contain a mirror of the other end. This is best demonstrated in the human life cycle. we all know that an old person is at the opposite end of the age spectrum but very similar, in terms of needs, to a baby.
Exercise: Look at an apple. Notice that you could never know where it begins and ends. True, you may see a small stalk, but the opposite side grew out of that stalk- once they were joined in a seed. Now go outside and look at a tree. If you were able to see the roots of the tree you would see that the branches above ground were being mirrored by the branches under the Earth, except in this instance we call them roots - there is an obvious correlation and similarity between opposite ends of the tree. The tree grew from one source and each end is now separated but only by degree - it is still one tree.
The only things you will find in life that are not either rounded (have no beginning and no end - and that philosophically includes humans) or don't have a common source and life cycle, are the things that are man-made. In everything in life we find polarity. Hot is opposite to cold but they are similar - at both ends of the scale they can burn you. Other polarities are up/down, on/off. How many more can you discern?
Spend time in contemplation of the well known Yin/Yang symbol and also think of times when you have laughed so hard you have cried, or got so angry you have laughed at yourself. Look at those who you reject because they seem so opposite in nature to you and see where in fact you are very similar but in varying degrees. The feminine girly girl who likes pink is very similar to the butch woman who has rejected her femininity. They have simple taken polar extremes of the same reject/accept scale. In astrology we see this law at work in the six pairs of signs: Aries/Libra, Taurus/Scorpio etc.
Use the law to self correct your life. When you are angry deliberately do something that makes you happy. If you meet unkind words offer its opposite, unconditional love. If you are sad seek out someone who is happy.
The secret within this law if to understand, yet again, that there is no linear measure of time, space, man or his experiences. However far apart in personality, beliefs or nature you seem to be from your fellow humans, (or those who have departed) you are joined; separated only in degree. This is the Principle of Polarity.
LAW 5: Everything flows, everything has its tides. All things rise and fall the pendulum has its swing.
The 5th Key. Now we are asked to consider the Law of Flow. This reminds us that if we would just let things move at their own rhythm and pace, they will move in harmony.
Exercise: Be alert for times when you step in and try and control events to fit an artificial timetable. Who is it who has determined this agenda and why? Are the reasons fear based? Control based? Ask yourself what is the worst thing that could happen if you surrender to the flow. We all know people who are moody. They are very reactive to this law but the serene person is balanced, allowing life to flow back and forth between both poles, never letting anything upset their own equilibrium. In practice this would entail you deliberately counter balancing by always looking for the good in what you perceive to be a 'bad' situation, whilst surrendering to the experience as a whole.
The secret is that from our limited perspective, if things don't go according to plan we feel as if they will drift into chaos. But consider this; maybe if the taxi is late and you are going to miss curtain up at the theatre or being late picking your kids up from school you have not seen how divine providence may have saved you from missing the rest of your life altogether! What if your taxi had arrived on time. Would your driver have taken another route and then got caught in a traffic jam that would have made you even more late? What if you had picked your kids up on time but then been in the path of an accident that you would otherwise have missed? Go with the flow. We should never assume that our agenda is better than that of the 'Divine'. Embrace the Principle of Rhythm and trust it.
LAW 6: Every cause has an effect, every effect has its cause; everything happens according to law. Chance is but a name for Law not yet recognised. Nothing escapes Law.
The 6th Key. Now at first sight, this one is very similar to Law 5 but there are subtle differences. This law asks us to consider the chain of events that lies behind 'chance' - a chain of events that we can never trace back to the very beginning and therefore we can not know where we are in its cycle. Therefore when things happen we call them chance because we can't see the connections.
Astrologers know the cycles of planets and can inform a client at what stage they are in any cycle. This is because we can track the planet or extrapolate information about its movements from the understanding we have about planetary harmonics (periods). Anthropologists can tell us which period we are at in our evolution but they do it on linear scale, as the understanding they have about evolution does not encompass a cyclical model.
This law also embraces the subject of Karma. We know that we had 2 parents, 4 grandparents, 8 great grandparents and 16 great, great grandparents and so on which means that at some time way back in history when the population was very small we were all either related or from families or tribes that may have known each other. An indeterminate amount of people have a connection to you but we cannot know what they set in motion.
With this in mind then every unexplainable event is merely something that may have been caused at another time in thought and we now experience the effect. The chain may be visible, upon closer examination, or invisible because of our limitations, but one thing is sure it is connected to our interaction with the ALL.
Exercise: See if you can rebuild the chain of something that appeared to be a coincidence to you. Write down all the events that had to happen in order for your coincidence to occur. See if you can identify the cause of the effect.
The Secret - is quite simply that nothing happens that is not ordered. Chaos and randomness is not an option!
Every thought is a cause and every condition an effect
LAW 7; Gender is in everything; everything has its Masculine and Feminine Principles. Gender manifests on all planes.
The 7th Key Gender (in the Hermetic sense) and the sex of something are not the same thing. Gender means to generate. Your sex is a manifestation of your ability to generate on the physical plane. The Hermetic teachings are fascinating in this regard for they point out that positive corpuscles or electrons seem to exert an influence upon negative corpuscles, causing the latter to assume certain combinations and thus 'generate' an atom. This is obviously analogous to the masculine energies exciting the feminine causing her to 'generate' a baby.
I have long held a particular theory, as a result of this knowledge, that when a couple fail to naturally create a baby it could be because there is not the correct vibrational attunement or the woman is somehow blocking the male energy. She's not 'excited' enough - maybe biologically - but definitely at some unconscious level of the mental plane. Although this may stem back to the principle of cause and effect (karma).
Negative particles equate to the feminine energy and masculine particles equate to a positive charge. The former circles rapidly around the latter and as I say, it is the union which causes the birth of a new atom. Once it is formed it becomes a separate thing with certain properties. So we can see from Science that it is feminine energy that is the creative force but only when acted upon by the masculine energy. All embryo’s are initially female until acted on by a force that begins the process of masculinisation.
So this is The Principle of Gender operating on the plane of energy. Both poles are needed for generative ability. Hermeticists maintain that the force of gravity is another manifestation of this Principle.
Exercise: Ponder on the masculine (positive) and feminine (negative) dualities on the mental plane. If a negative thought circles rapidly around a positive one (but in this sense we are not talking about the good or bad quality of the thought but rather what they produce in combination) and it is the negative energy that creates 'something new' then what can you deduce from that? Really think about it before reading on.
I notice that many religions put their hands together when in prayer. Some schools of thought maintain the left side of the body has a negative charge and the right a positive one. Could we unconsciously know this to be true and in prayer we are completing a circuit of energy for Mind to operate through? Try it. See if you ability to manifest miracles increases with the traditional hand-together, prayer position.
The Secret. It can be seen that it is likely that positive and negative thought can be consciously manipulated to produce a new thought. If we look at the feminine principle as being the sub conscious, or receptive, mind and the masculine as the objective and active, suggestive mind, it can be seen that we should bring our attention to what is occurring in our subconscious in order to produce a change. So we don't try and eradicate one, we bring them together to create something new!

Grandparents Day

This day used to be on 9-11, before the terrorist attacks, now it is on 9-12. In any case, it is an important day to all the grandchildren! The grandmothers and grandfathers are, and alway have been a Godsend, a safety net, an ancestry for the children. The prayers of the grandparents for their grandchildren are sacred, and almost as powerful as the prayers from the mothers!

August is so full of astrological, astronomical and astrodynamical happenings! Three more, then September is here!

Full moon in 1 Pisces, (the fish) on the 24th was an apogee moon, smaller than normal, and 15% smaller than the supermoon perigee. Pisces, as Virgo’s opposite, lives in the realm of Spirit and ideals rather than the mundane. Pisces opens the door to the worlds that lie within the soul and psyche. Virgo is practical and teaches us to create order, Pisces transcends everyday reality and ascends into more soulful experiences. Neither is better than the other– with the opposition- Sun in Virgo, Moon in Pisces- we must learn to create balance and integration.

Then there was the beginning of Mercury Retrograde on the 20th, which really started 3 days prior, on the 17th- I know because this is when my trusty car did not start! (Yes, it was a fuel pump) This will last until Sept 12... 3 weeks, as usual. This year just happens to have 4 Mercury Retrogrades, instead of 3, just like last year! Lucky us!

This new Venus Max cycle gets started with Venus as evening star (Venus Vesper or Venus Hesperus) reaching the maximum elongation east of the Sun at 12° Libra on the 20th (conjunct Mars and also in the middle of the Great 2010 T-Square/Grand Cross, AND same day as Mercury Retrograde beginning). Look into the western sky in the evening to see Venus- in Colorado, this is above the mountains... easy to find. This cycle lasts into next year, ending with Venus as the morning star.

Why is Friday the 13th Considered Unlucky by Many, Lucky by Some?
Many beliefs and superstitions have come down through the ages. The most widespread one is that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day. There are people who refuse to start anything new, make a decision or even step out of the house, or bed on Friday the 13th. There are mixed feelings about the combination of Friday and the 13th. Many people consider the date 13 unlucky, while even the day Friday is considered unlucky. Friday has been debated upon since ancient times—being considered both lucky and unlucky. The sixth day of the week was dedicated to Venus by the ancient Romans. Later, this was adopted by the Norsemen. However, their translation for Venus was Frigg or Freya, Goddess of fertility and motherhood, and this gave rise to the name Friday. Soon, Friday came to be considered the luckiest day of the week. On the other hand, Friday was considered an unlucky day from a religious viewpoint, according to incidents in the Bible. Legend says that Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit on a Friday, they also died on a Friday. The Great Flood and the confusion at the Tower of Babel are believed to have begun on Fridays. Judas, who betrayed Jesus, was the thirteenth guest at the Last Supper. It is also believed that Jesus Christ was crucified on a Friday. The combination of Friday and thirteen gave rise to the belief that Friday the 13th was an unlucky day. There were other reasons that made the 13th an unlucky date. The 13th demi-god, Loki, of the Scandinavians was evil, so they believed that 13 was an unlucky number. In ancient times, counting beyond 12 was considered strange, so the number 13 was thought of as unlucky. Ancient beliefs have given rise to superstitions related to days and dates, particularly regarding Friday the 13th. However, beliefs are also colored by individual experiences and perceptions, so while many consider Friday the 13th unlucky, some consider it lucky! Parskavedekatreaphobia and friggatriskaidekaphobia are two of the longest words in the English language. They are the two terms that are associated with the fear of Friday the 13th. The first word is the clinical term for the phobia, and the second is the fear of the number 13. For centuries, the number 13 has been considered to be unlucky. The Masons, who were feared by many in Europe because of the secrecy of their society held 13 as a sacred number. The early Christian Church believed that 13 was an unlucky number and feared it because they associated it with femininity. Women will usually have 13 menstrual cycles in a year, and the early pagan religions held the number in high regard because of this. Friday has also always been considered as an unlucky day. The fear of Friday the 13th is rooted more in urban legend then in fact. 13, and Friday the 13th, have only been 'unlucky' for 700 years. Before that, they were 'lucky'. Among the reasons the number was sacred: its place in the Fibonacci sequence (1,1,2,3,5,8,13...), Sacred Geometry, which, for reasons unknown to many, the natural world strongly document. Friday was also considered sacred in ancient times. The reason for the change: on Friday, October 13th, 1307, all across Europe, the Knights Templar were summarily executed for sympathizing with pagans (heresy). The entire order was wiped out by Papal decree in the most coordinated military action in history. Now 13 is considered by some Christians to be 'the devil's number'. This, despite the fact that Jesus and his 12 disciples numbered 13 holy men. Unless one believes in a more historical Jesus - in which case, Mary Magdalene makes it 13 disciples. So influential was "bloody" Friday the 13th, the majority of skyscrapers do not have a 13th floor. In Florence, Italy, there are no '13' addresses. The houses between 12 and 14 are labeled "12 1/2". 13 is so unlucky, in fact, that dice only roll up to 12, clocks have 12 hours, many foods come in dozens, and even Christmas has only 12 days. All this just so that no one will have to deal with a '13th'. To the ancient Egyptians, life was a quest for spiritual ascension which unfolded in stages - 12 in this life and a 13th beyond, thought to be the eternal afterlife. The number 13 therefore symbolized death - not in terms of dust and decay, but as a glorious and desirable transformation. Though Egyptian civilization perished, the symbolism conferred on the number 13 by its priesthood survived, only to be corrupted by subsequent cultures who came to associate 13 with a fear of death instead of a reverence for the afterlife.

Perseids and Planets peak tonight beginning at sundown when Venus, Saturn, Mars and the Crescent Moon in the western twilight are aligned in conjunction. All four heavenly bodies will fit in a circle about 10 degrees diameter in the dusky colors of sunset. These planets will hang together in the western sky until 10 pm. When they leave, you should stay, because that is when the Perseid meteor shower begins. From 10 pm until dawn, meteors will fly across the starry sky displaying even more exciting night light than the planetary get-together. These meteors are called Perseids because they fly out of the constellation Perseus, from a point called Radiant. Every August the perseids put on a spectacular light show! Make a wish on a falling star...

New Leo Moon

This New Moon is in Leo! ROAR! In like a lion, out like a lamb...

This is a Supermoon, otherwise known as very influential moon!

According to Richard Nolle of Astropro.com, who originated the term of supermoon:

"After a period of relative calm, this month begins a series of SuperMoons, and the associated surge in headlining powerful storms and seismic activity. The new series starts with the new moon at 17° 25’ Leo on the 10th. This one is, as mentioned earlier, very much in the throes of the 2010 T-Square: Venus and Mars are conjunct Saturn, opposing Jupiter and Uranus, squaring Pluto. The tight Venus-Mars tie-in to this SuperMoon speaks of strong passions – great for a runaway romance or a lusty liaison, not so great in the case of runaway jealousy, hate or avarice. Something to keep in mind in one’s personal life during this particular SuperMoon shock window: sometimes lust turns to bloodlust, which is why Mars and Venus both represent warriors in one culture or another. So it’s probably not a bad idea to keep your cool (and your guard up) during this alignment too. When feelings run high and blood runs hot, it’s no time to be complacent. The Venus and Mars SuperMoon tie-in works on the collective level, as well as the individual. Border clashes, terrorist attacks, hijackings and military confrontations triggered by posturing and propaganda that gets out of control . . . we’re already under a strong Mars pattern early in August, so there are probably a few extra outbursts around the time of the SuperMoon on the 10th.
The August 10 SuperMoon has a wide effective geocosmic shock window, beginning on the 5th as the Moon’s north declination peak approaches; and continuing into the 13th. Expect the usual: unusually strong storms with high winds and heavy precipitation, extreme tidal surges, and of course a raft of newsworthy magnitude 5+ quakes and volcanic eruptions. I suspect that high winds may be this particular SuperMoon’s strong suit – think typhoons and hurricanes, for example - but that’s not to downplay the other correlates.
It’s cosmic in scale and therefore global in scope of course, but the August 10 SuperMoon’s astro-locality map shows a few areas of special vulnerability. These include a horizon arc that runs through the Pacific Northwest and the east African coast, and a couple of longitudinal arcs from the southern tip of Greenland through eastern Brazil in the western hemisphere and from Siberia due south down through central Australia in the eastern hemisphere. Do not feel complacent if you’re not in one of these zones during the August 5-13 geocosmic shock window. The skies, seas and crust of the whole planet respond to a SuperMoon, so there’s not place that’s completely off the target list. Being ready for heavy weather should be de rigueur at times like this. If traveling, be aware of the likelihood that schedules will be disrupted by weather-related delays – especially with the Mercury Max going on at the time. Have alternatives, double-check everything!"

CME, Solar Flares

This will cause some colorful Auroras in the north, but the rest of us have to watch out for extreme sunburns! I have been wanting to blog about the dangers of our sun in this situation, and here we are...
Some of my friends have had cancers taken off their skin recently, they are lucky- all was removed, many people are not so lucky. Please get a skin check up, yearly, if possible. Develop melanin slowly, by tanning a little each day to build up the pigment in your skin, and stay out of the sun during days like today when a CME (Coronal Mass Ejection) from the sun is occurring. See right side of this blog for daily updates on the sun, moon, earth, as this is Very Important to us all!

Grand Cardinal Cross

Today is the heart of some very powerful aspects between Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto, The Grand Cardinal Cross.
This big Cardinal alignment of the summer reaches a peak this week with Saturn already having moved into position and Mars and the Moon lining up as well.

Lynn Hayes says:

"The intensity of this alignment is likely to peak around the 31st of July, when the Moon enters Aries and sets off the other planets, adding an emotional component that makes it all deeply personal, perhaps even for just a day or two. Mars, however, will remain in the picture throughout the first week of August so during this time it’s important that we remain very aware of where we are putting our energy. This can be an exhilarating time where we become passionately involved in something, but any time we have Mars interacting with Jupiter and Uranus there is some danger for the flaring of tempers and potential for accidents caused by reckless behavior.

After this point the intensity of the planetary energy begins to subside other than the final square of Saturn to Pluto on August 21st. This is a challenging aspect, but it’s the final phase of the cycle where it completes the work and moves on."

How are We doing?

How are We All doing after the Solar Eclipse? I have noticed lots of changes in these last 11 days, and many more to come- that's for sure! Those abusing power are starting to fall, slowly rolling downhill, like a snowball, picking up more speed, and accumulating more snow, as it rolls downward. Earth changes speeding up, faster all the time! Did you notice how many earthquakes yesterday? Follow the USGS Seismic Monitor on this blog, and you will see how many occur every day! Hurricane season, torrential rainstorms and tornado's are happening more now than ever... not to mention a few big oil spills!
