First Snow
It is here! It has arrived! The first snow of the season! Our Colorado snow is dry, blowing, cold snow- not the delicate flowers and patterns of snowflakes of which we made cutouts in school. This blowing snowing weather makes you want to stay in bed, not get up and drive on the icy roads to go anywhere. Turn up the heat and get a cup of tea! Old Man Winter comes calling at the door again.

Off to the Rocky Mountains!
I am off to the Rockies tomorrow! Family Reunion Time! Mom, being the Matriarch of the Family, has planned a great time! Everything from lunch by the creek at the Wines of Colorado, to dinner at the ranch, to brunch at the casino in Cripple Creek, then there is hiking, singing around the campfire, sleeping in the sleeping bags or on the bunks in the lodge, stargazing without the city lights to block the spectacular view, then on Saturday...Solstice- the first day of summer-YEAAA! We just never grow up, do we? Summer is always the highlight of the year- school is out, and the fun begins! Vacation time is right around the corner!!!

A Winter Day
This is just a winter day in Colorado today. At least, no blizzard, or freezing cold! Winter is usually nice, but after last year, which was the worst on record, most of us are requesting mild days and even milder temperatures. It seems we are not into winter anymore- it's just too much to shovel 3 times a day, every day. So, thank God, this is just a winter day. It is still early in the winter, however, so it could get worse, but I will NOT entertain the thought. I will appreciate what I do have, which is, by the way, what I intended...

E Club Networking
2 days of E Club Networking~ AND another tomorrow evening! I am having an After Hours Networking for Entrepreneur Club at the Steaksmith from 5-7pm. This is the first After Hours Networking for E Club, and will be a great venue to wrap up the year! 2007 has been a whirlwind year for most of us, now we need to just socialize and unwind and the Steaksmith is the perfect place to be on a cold, snowy night in Colorado~ it has a fireplace in the cozy lounge, they serve mouthwatering steaks, and other good entrees. The appetizers are warm and yummy~ overall it reminds me of a ski lodge~ ski apre style! Check out: eclubnetworking.com and eclubnetworking.ning.com

Friday Finally!
What a week! This was a very fast-paced and difficult week, I am glad it is OVER! No time to write, think or relax this week... I was so exhausted, I could barely do the podcasts, "Prescriptions for Health" & "Living Younger Longer and Having Energy" on Tuesday, but THE SHOW MUST GO ON! The Entrepreneur Club on Wednesday was simply delicious! The food, the people, the ideas, the training, the masterminding~ YUMMY! Finally, my hot tub was delivered, but it took all day on Thursday to install, then I worked the evening clinic at Mission Medical Clinic until late, helping wherever needed, which seemed to be everywhere this time! I finally arrive to Friday, and we have an ice storm! Ahhh, winter in Colorado! My mom even fell last night and broke her foot! She went to the Emergency Clinic & then left for Egypt today on schedule anyway!!!! Yes, one tough cookie she is~ remember I am her daughter!
