The Seven Magic Keys
"From the very first time I read about the Seven Universal Laws I was spellbound by the wisdom contained within the them. If you are unfamiliar with these Laws, which come originally from translations of ancient hermetic texts, you may like to watch a 3 minute video which I have put together at KathrynCassidy.com."

THE SEVEN UNIVERSAL PRINCIPLES/LAWS
The words in the video inspire us because they resonate within at a very deep level. However the use of the word Magic in the title of this article should be properly understood. Magic in this context is not aligned with the word illusion but with the ability to invoke the forces that lie dormant within us all; forces that unite us with the 'All that is' - sometimes known as the Divine.
It strikes me however that the poetic, but archaic, text of The Kybalion (the book from which the Laws are taken) requires a more up-to-date translation. Much has already been made in the popular press of some of the laws i.e. The Law of Attraction, which is an amalgamation of the Principles of Correspondence and Vibration, but what about the other laws? How can we discover how they are working in our life and put them to use? Well you don't have to get all new-agey or start pacing out 5 pointed stars - although Harry Potter did have the number 7 on the back of his jacket because JK Rowling knows a thing or two about esoteric wisdom - but no, none of that. All you have to do is open your eyes and ears a little wider to the world around you and your interactions with it.
So, you may like to get hold of a nice new notebook. This shows commitment and willingness to dedicate yourself to recording your insights. Your pen will act as your magic wand because writing things down tends to impress them into the consciousness more strongly than just reading about them ever can. If you can commit each of the Laws to paper and follow my exercises below you are guaranteed to become more cognizant of how all seven of the laws permeate throughout your existence and shape your world.
One word of friendly warning though. Possessing knowledge of the keys requires intent, application, total honesty and most of all courage, because each key once turned will quite possibly take you into places you might at times prefer not to explore; your inner being.
If you persevere however you can use this information to transform your life from the ordinary to the extraordinary.
LAW 1: Mind (as well as elements and metals) may be transmuted from state to state; degree to degree; condition to condition; pole to pole; vibration to vibration. The All is Mind the Universe is Mental.
Here the message concerns the practice of Alchemy. The word Alchemy applies to manipulation of elements and substances in order to understand the constituents of nature. This practice continues today in laboratories all over the world but is now called Chemistry. However alchemy has a dual meaning - it also applies to the transmutation of the lower nature of the soul; the process of distilling the spiritual higher self, from the lower, coarser more slowly vibrating character.
The 1st Key is to understand that everything which happens in physicality is initiated at the level of the mind and it is the mind that produces our reality and the matter we encounter. If we take control of our thoughts (mind) and appreciate our interconnectedness to The Collective Mind, also known as the ALL; The Divine and even God, we can literally transmute - change - our life for the better.
Exercise: Try and separate what you observe from the person who is observing it. Where does that person reside? Are 'you' in your head, in your shoes, in your elbow? Where is the part of you that you call your personality? Looking at yourself and talking to yourself in a mirror often increases your awareness that your brain is housed in physical form, but 'you' are not. Read as many books about the power of the mind as you can. Write down a list of one thing you would like to draw into your life (leaving out money for now!) Start by getting clear about what it is you want - be it a person, condition or event. Use visualisation and written affirmations. Then, for a period of a week, write down all of the synchronicities or coincidences that have caught your attention during each day, regarding your initial desire. You may start to see TV adverts or overhear conversations; observe book titles or receive a phonecall, all of which in some way bring you closer to your desire - or appear to offer you clues as to how to move towards your goal. All these things will demonstrate to you that your thoughts are indeed beginning to attract the corresponding reality into your world. And, if that is so your mind must be connected to something beyond your brain!
The more you can recognise and believe that your thoughts are an energy that permeate everything in the Universe and are not boundaried by your skull, the more quickly you will feel empowered to start manifesting the conditions you need, and to change the things you thought were out of your control.
The secret is to know that your mind creates all the conditions you encounter and processes the way you perceive them. Every thought you have about someone, whether good or bad, is received and unconsciously acknowledged. This is a two-way street. When you are suddenly taken by a desire to call someone for example you can be sure that they were recently thinking of you too. Thus this is the Principle of Mentalism. It may also be called the Law of Pure Potentiality as all the laws are ultimately part of the ALL and the ALL encompasses everything that is.
LAW 2: As below, so above, as above, so below.
The 2nd Key is to appreciate that there is no separation. The Mind of the ALL flows through everything at every level of existence from the smallest to the largest and vice versa. If something is happening to you on Earth there will be a corresponding event in the Heavens AND at every level in between which is why the law is extended in Hermetic texts to include as within, so without. Whatever is happening within you will find a corresponding event outside of you - and vice versa. This is possibly one of the most difficult laws to understand but the teachings of Hermes Trismegistus assert that all information about a man can be found within a single drop of his blood and that within a man is a representation of the entire universe.

The secret is to know that everything you meet in life - everything - has a correspondence to something going on within you.
The food you choose to eat; the people you associate with; the atmosphere around you…. 'You are what you eat. You are what you meet'. Illness is another clue of a reciprocal link of your inner world to your outer world or vice versa. read Louise Hay ' You Can Heal Your Life' to find out more.
Charles Haanel had this to say:
"The majority of mankind lives in the world without; few have found the world within and yet it is the world within that makes the world without; it is therefore creative and everything you find in your world without has been created by your world within"
If you decide to take responsibility for your thoughts and what you are meeting you can never assign blame. Always see the world as if it is turning just for you. See that it is trying to show you where you are doing well and what you may need to pay a little more attention to in your life. Thus this key is also known as the Principle of Correspondence*.
*The as above so below also directly refers to planetary correspondences too but that is for another article.
LAW 3: Nothing rests. everything moves, everything vibrates:
The 3rd Key speaks of the frequencies that everything emits. All matter from your body to the chair that you sit on, the food you eat and the car that you drive is comprised of atoms moving (oscillating) at speeds that are invisible to our eyes. Vibration is also the mechanism that allows us to hear and see. Sound and light waves are just another form of vibrating energy. Everything we perceive is only the way it appears because that's how are brains are wired up to experience it. These speeds are not, however, invisible to what we commonly refer to as our sixth sense. This is the faculty that allows us to detect unseen energies and consciously raise and lower our vibration - we just need to give it attention.
'Where attention goes - energy flows'
In raising the natural vibration to a higher frequency, it has been found that one will attract people and events of a higher nature too. This happens through a process called Resonance. Think of the way you can turn a dial on a radio and pick up entirely different stations and programs simply by selecting a new frequency. The basic premise is exactly the same - you can see what vibration you must be sending out by noticing what you are receiving.
Exercise: When you meet someone for the first time, don't launch into immediate trivial chit chat. Take a breath and note what reactions you are feeling in your body. Do you feel jittery or calm? Do you feel uplifted or tired? Listen to the tone of their voice. What invisible information are you registering simply from the tonal quality of this person. Are they tired, stressed, happy? When we meet someone of a similar vibrational attunement we feel harmony - we feel good in their presence. We easily merge or blend with them and their energy. When there is a differing vibration we feel discordant - ill at ease.
Every single emotional reaction we have is just energy that is moving through us. So, if you work assiduously at recognising the feelings every encounter engenders in you, you will in time come to accurately know where your own vibrational level must presently be at. You'll instinctively know which activities, places and people raise you up and which lower you down. Again keep a diary or notebook until you start to automatically sense these invisible forces and feel empowered to use this knowledge to consciously change your own vibration in order to attract better circumstances.
The secret is that ‘like attracts like’ vibrations but high, light vibrations always transmute the lower, denser ones. So seek out uplifting books, people, events and even foods and avoid dark and dismal colours, people, attitudes and make the Law of Vibration work for you.
LAW 4: Everything is dual everything has its pair of opposites, like and unlike are the same opposites are identical in nature - just different in degrees.
The 4th Key is to know that everything has two ends but we must stop looking at everything as being linear - that is, as if it is measurable on a scale like a ruler. In truth everything is circular and there is no separation between the two ends. What goes around will eventually come around!
The Earth is round; our cells ; the cycles of nature, are all round. Nothing is straight. Opposites are identical in nature because at some juncture in a circle they must be joined together or contain a mirror of the other end. This is best demonstrated in the human life cycle. we all know that an old person is at the opposite end of the age spectrum but very similar, in terms of needs, to a baby.
Exercise: Look at an apple. Notice that you could never know where it begins and ends. True, you may see a small stalk, but the opposite side grew out of that stalk- once they were joined in a seed. Now go outside and look at a tree. If you were able to see the roots of the tree you would see that the branches above ground were being mirrored by the branches under the Earth, except in this instance we call them roots - there is an obvious correlation and similarity between opposite ends of the tree. The tree grew from one source and each end is now separated but only by degree - it is still one tree.
The only things you will find in life that are not either rounded (have no beginning and no end - and that philosophically includes humans) or don't have a common source and life cycle, are the things that are man-made. In everything in life we find polarity. Hot is opposite to cold but they are similar - at both ends of the scale they can burn you. Other polarities are up/down, on/off. How many more can you discern?
Spend time in contemplation of the well known Yin/Yang symbol and also think of times when you have laughed so hard you have cried, or got so angry you have laughed at yourself. Look at those who you reject because they seem so opposite in nature to you and see where in fact you are very similar but in varying degrees. The feminine girly girl who likes pink is very similar to the butch woman who has rejected her femininity. They have simple taken polar extremes of the same reject/accept scale. In astrology we see this law at work in the six pairs of signs: Aries/Libra, Taurus/Scorpio etc.
Use the law to self correct your life. When you are angry deliberately do something that makes you happy. If you meet unkind words offer its opposite, unconditional love. If you are sad seek out someone who is happy.
The secret within this law if to understand, yet again, that there is no linear measure of time, space, man or his experiences. However far apart in personality, beliefs or nature you seem to be from your fellow humans, (or those who have departed) you are joined; separated only in degree. This is the Principle of Polarity.
LAW 5: Everything flows, everything has its tides. All things rise and fall the pendulum has its swing.
The 5th Key. Now we are asked to consider the Law of Flow. This reminds us that if we would just let things move at their own rhythm and pace, they will move in harmony.
Exercise: Be alert for times when you step in and try and control events to fit an artificial timetable. Who is it who has determined this agenda and why? Are the reasons fear based? Control based? Ask yourself what is the worst thing that could happen if you surrender to the flow. We all know people who are moody. They are very reactive to this law but the serene person is balanced, allowing life to flow back and forth between both poles, never letting anything upset their own equilibrium. In practice this would entail you deliberately counter balancing by always looking for the good in what you perceive to be a 'bad' situation, whilst surrendering to the experience as a whole.
The secret is that from our limited perspective, if things don't go according to plan we feel as if they will drift into chaos. But consider this; maybe if the taxi is late and you are going to miss curtain up at the theatre or being late picking your kids up from school you have not seen how divine providence may have saved you from missing the rest of your life altogether! What if your taxi had arrived on time. Would your driver have taken another route and then got caught in a traffic jam that would have made you even more late? What if you had picked your kids up on time but then been in the path of an accident that you would otherwise have missed? Go with the flow. We should never assume that our agenda is better than that of the 'Divine'. Embrace the Principle of Rhythm and trust it.
LAW 6: Every cause has an effect, every effect has its cause; everything happens according to law. Chance is but a name for Law not yet recognised. Nothing escapes Law.
The 6th Key. Now at first sight, this one is very similar to Law 5 but there are subtle differences. This law asks us to consider the chain of events that lies behind 'chance' - a chain of events that we can never trace back to the very beginning and therefore we can not know where we are in its cycle. Therefore when things happen we call them chance because we can't see the connections.
Astrologers know the cycles of planets and can inform a client at what stage they are in any cycle. This is because we can track the planet or extrapolate information about its movements from the understanding we have about planetary harmonics (periods). Anthropologists can tell us which period we are at in our evolution but they do it on linear scale, as the understanding they have about evolution does not encompass a cyclical model.
This law also embraces the subject of Karma. We know that we had 2 parents, 4 grandparents, 8 great grandparents and 16 great, great grandparents and so on which means that at some time way back in history when the population was very small we were all either related or from families or tribes that may have known each other. An indeterminate amount of people have a connection to you but we cannot know what they set in motion.
With this in mind then every unexplainable event is merely something that may have been caused at another time in thought and we now experience the effect. The chain may be visible, upon closer examination, or invisible because of our limitations, but one thing is sure it is connected to our interaction with the ALL.
Exercise: See if you can rebuild the chain of something that appeared to be a coincidence to you. Write down all the events that had to happen in order for your coincidence to occur. See if you can identify the cause of the effect.
The Secret - is quite simply that nothing happens that is not ordered. Chaos and randomness is not an option!
Every thought is a cause and every condition an effect
LAW 7; Gender is in everything; everything has its Masculine and Feminine Principles. Gender manifests on all planes.
The 7th Key Gender (in the Hermetic sense) and the sex of something are not the same thing. Gender means to generate. Your sex is a manifestation of your ability to generate on the physical plane. The Hermetic teachings are fascinating in this regard for they point out that positive corpuscles or electrons seem to exert an influence upon negative corpuscles, causing the latter to assume certain combinations and thus 'generate' an atom. This is obviously analogous to the masculine energies exciting the feminine causing her to 'generate' a baby.
I have long held a particular theory, as a result of this knowledge, that when a couple fail to naturally create a baby it could be because there is not the correct vibrational attunement or the woman is somehow blocking the male energy. She's not 'excited' enough - maybe biologically - but definitely at some unconscious level of the mental plane. Although this may stem back to the principle of cause and effect (karma).
Negative particles equate to the feminine energy and masculine particles equate to a positive charge. The former circles rapidly around the latter and as I say, it is the union which causes the birth of a new atom. Once it is formed it becomes a separate thing with certain properties. So we can see from Science that it is feminine energy that is the creative force but only when acted upon by the masculine energy. All embryo’s are initially female until acted on by a force that begins the process of masculinisation.
So this is The Principle of Gender operating on the plane of energy. Both poles are needed for generative ability. Hermeticists maintain that the force of gravity is another manifestation of this Principle.
Exercise: Ponder on the masculine (positive) and feminine (negative) dualities on the mental plane. If a negative thought circles rapidly around a positive one (but in this sense we are not talking about the good or bad quality of the thought but rather what they produce in combination) and it is the negative energy that creates 'something new' then what can you deduce from that? Really think about it before reading on.
I notice that many religions put their hands together when in prayer. Some schools of thought maintain the left side of the body has a negative charge and the right a positive one. Could we unconsciously know this to be true and in prayer we are completing a circuit of energy for Mind to operate through? Try it. See if you ability to manifest miracles increases with the traditional hand-together, prayer position.
The Secret. It can be seen that it is likely that positive and negative thought can be consciously manipulated to produce a new thought. If we look at the feminine principle as being the sub conscious, or receptive, mind and the masculine as the objective and active, suggestive mind, it can be seen that we should bring our attention to what is occurring in our subconscious in order to produce a change. So we don't try and eradicate one, we bring them together to create something new!

That's it. That's all the Laws. Everything in the Universe falls into one of these categories whilst at the same time encompassing all seven. The laws permeate through all levels of existence and everything that seems so complicated is really very, very simple and can be summed up in a few words........
One principle of consciousness permeating the entire universe, occupying all space and being essentially the same kind at every level. That is The All

Grandparents Day

This day used to be on 9-11, before the terrorist attacks, now it is on 9-12. In any case, it is an important day to all the grandchildren! The grandmothers and grandfathers are, and alway have been a Godsend, a safety net, an ancestry for the children. The prayers of the grandparents for their grandchildren are sacred, and almost as powerful as the prayers from the mothers!

9-11, Sad Day- "Never Forget"

This is a sad day for all Americans- the day of the terrorist attacks in 2001. Remembering is hard, but very needed and the right thing to do- if we choose to forget, we choose to repeat the past...Never Forget!

New Moon, New Life

New Moon brings new life to all our desires! Almost out of Mercury retrograde... 4 more days!

Full Moon in Pisces, Venus Max and Mercury Retrograde too!

August is so full of astrological, astronomical and astrodynamical happenings! Three more, then September is here!

Full moon in 1 Pisces, (the fish) on the 24th was an apogee moon, smaller than normal, and 15% smaller than the supermoon perigee. Pisces, as Virgo’s opposite, lives in the realm of Spirit and ideals rather than the mundane. Pisces opens the door to the worlds that lie within the soul and psyche. Virgo is practical and teaches us to create order, Pisces transcends everyday reality and ascends into more soulful experiences. Neither is better than the other– with the opposition- Sun in Virgo, Moon in Pisces- we must learn to create balance and integration.

Then there was the beginning of Mercury Retrograde on the 20th, which really started 3 days prior, on the 17th- I know because this is when my trusty car did not start! (Yes, it was a fuel pump) This will last until Sept 12... 3 weeks, as usual. This year just happens to have 4 Mercury Retrogrades, instead of 3, just like last year! Lucky us!

This new Venus Max cycle gets started with Venus as evening star (Venus Vesper or Venus Hesperus) reaching the maximum elongation east of the Sun at 12° Libra on the 20th (conjunct Mars and also in the middle of the Great 2010 T-Square/Grand Cross, AND same day as Mercury Retrograde beginning). Look into the western sky in the evening to see Venus- in Colorado, this is above the mountains... easy to find. This cycle lasts into next year, ending with Venus as the morning star.

Friday the 13th

Why is Friday the 13th Considered Unlucky by Many, Lucky by Some?
Many beliefs and superstitions have come down through the ages. The most widespread one is that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day. There are people who refuse to start anything new, make a decision or even step out of the house, or bed on Friday the 13th. There are mixed feelings about the combination of Friday and the 13th. Many people consider the date 13 unlucky, while even the day Friday is considered unlucky. Friday has been debated upon since ancient times—being considered both lucky and unlucky. The sixth day of the week was dedicated to Venus by the ancient Romans. Later, this was adopted by the Norsemen. However, their translation for Venus was Frigg or Freya, Goddess of fertility and motherhood, and this gave rise to the name Friday. Soon, Friday came to be considered the luckiest day of the week. On the other hand, Friday was considered an unlucky day from a religious viewpoint, according to incidents in the Bible. Legend says that Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit on a Friday, they also died on a Friday. The Great Flood and the confusion at the Tower of Babel are believed to have begun on Fridays. Judas, who betrayed Jesus, was the thirteenth guest at the Last Supper. It is also believed that Jesus Christ was crucified on a Friday. The combination of Friday and thirteen gave rise to the belief that Friday the 13th was an unlucky day. There were other reasons that made the 13th an unlucky date. The 13th demi-god, Loki, of the Scandinavians was evil, so they believed that 13 was an unlucky number. In ancient times, counting beyond 12 was considered strange, so the number 13 was thought of as unlucky. Ancient beliefs have given rise to superstitions related to days and dates, particularly regarding Friday the 13th. However, beliefs are also colored by individual experiences and perceptions, so while many consider Friday the 13th unlucky, some consider it lucky! Parskavedekatreaphobia and friggatriskaidekaphobia are two of the longest words in the English language. They are the two terms that are associated with the fear of Friday the 13th. The first word is the clinical term for the phobia, and the second is the fear of the number 13. For centuries, the number 13 has been considered to be unlucky. The Masons, who were feared by many in Europe because of the secrecy of their society held 13 as a sacred number. The early Christian Church believed that 13 was an unlucky number and feared it because they associated it with femininity. Women will usually have 13 menstrual cycles in a year, and the early pagan religions held the number in high regard because of this. Friday has also always been considered as an unlucky day. There are many biblical scholars that believe that Eve gave Adam the fruit on a Friday, Cain killed Able on a Friday, Abraham died on a Friday, and that the world was flooded on a Friday. While there is no proved documentation as to these occurrences happening on a Friday, the fear cannot be denied. It is estimated that $800 - $900 million is lost in business revenues on Friday the 13th because of people not flying or handling business as normal. The British Medical Journal has proved in a study that there is a spike in automobile accidents on Friday the 13th. Modern culture has progressed this fear with the Friday the 13th movie series. The fear that there may be some kind of unwelcome death on this day is prevalent in some people's minds. The fear of Friday the 13th is rooted more in urban legend then in fact. 13, and Friday the 13th, have only been 'unlucky' for 700 years. Before that, they were 'lucky'. Among the reasons the number was sacred: its place in the Fibonacci sequence (1,1,2,3,5,8,13...), Sacred Geometry, which, for reasons unknown to many, the natural world strongly document. Friday was also considered sacred in ancient times. The reason for the change: on Friday, October 13th, 1307, all across Europe, the Knights Templar were summarily executed for sympathizing with pagans (heresy). The entire order was wiped out by Papal decree in the most coordinated military action in history. Now 13 is considered by some Christians to be 'the devil's number'. This, despite the fact that Jesus and his 12 disciples numbered 13 holy men. Unless one believes in a more historical Jesus - in which case, Mary Magdalene makes it 13 disciples. Because of its history, the number 13 has come to be associated with death. For example, a proper noose has 13 wraps in its coil, the steps leading up to a gallows traditionally number 13. So influential was "bloody" Friday the 13th, the majority of skyscrapers do not have a 13th floor. In Florence, Italy, there are no '13' addresses. The houses between 12 and 14 are labeled "12 1/2". 13 is so unlucky, in fact, that dice only roll up to 12, clocks have 12 hours, many foods come in dozens, and even Christmas has only 12 days. All this just so that no one will have to deal with a '13th'. To the ancient Egyptians, life was a quest for spiritual ascension which unfolded in stages - 12 in this life and a 13th beyond, thought to be the eternal afterlife. The number 13 therefore symbolized death - not in terms of dust and decay, but as a glorious and desirable transformation. Though Egyptian civilization perished, the symbolism conferred on the number 13 by its priesthood survived, only to be corrupted by subsequent cultures who came to associate 13 with a fear of death instead of a reverence for the afterlife.
By the way, the 13 year old boy struck by lightening survived- Lucky boy!

2010 Perseid Peak & Planet Alignment

Perseids and Planets peak tonight beginning at sundown when Venus, Saturn, Mars and the Crescent Moon in the western twilight are aligned in conjunction. All four heavenly bodies will fit in a circle about 10 degrees diameter in the dusky colors of sunset. These planets will hang together in the western sky until 10 pm. When they leave, you should stay, because that is when the Perseid meteor shower begins. From 10 pm until dawn, meteors will fly across the starry sky displaying even more exciting night light than the planetary get-together. These meteors are called Perseids because they fly out of the constellation Perseus, from a point called Radiant. Every August the perseids put on a spectacular light show! Make a wish on a falling star...

New Leo Moon

This New Moon is in Leo! ROAR! In like a lion, out like a lamb...

This is a Supermoon, otherwise known as very influential moon!

According to Richard Nolle of Astropro.com, who originated the term of supermoon:

"After a period of relative calm, this month begins a series of SuperMoons, and the associated surge in headlining powerful storms and seismic activity. The new series starts with the new moon at 17° 25’ Leo on the 10th. This one is, as mentioned earlier, very much in the throes of the 2010 T-Square: Venus and Mars are conjunct Saturn, opposing Jupiter and Uranus, squaring Pluto. The tight Venus-Mars tie-in to this SuperMoon speaks of strong passions – great for a runaway romance or a lusty liaison, not so great in the case of runaway jealousy, hate or avarice. Something to keep in mind in one’s personal life during this particular SuperMoon shock window: sometimes lust turns to bloodlust, which is why Mars and Venus both represent warriors in one culture or another. So it’s probably not a bad idea to keep your cool (and your guard up) during this alignment too. When feelings run high and blood runs hot, it’s no time to be complacent. The Venus and Mars SuperMoon tie-in works on the collective level, as well as the individual. Border clashes, terrorist attacks, hijackings and military confrontations triggered by posturing and propaganda that gets out of control . . . we’re already under a strong Mars pattern early in August, so there are probably a few extra outbursts around the time of the SuperMoon on the 10th.
The August 10 SuperMoon has a wide effective geocosmic shock window, beginning on the 5th as the Moon’s north declination peak approaches; and continuing into the 13th. Expect the usual: unusually strong storms with high winds and heavy precipitation, extreme tidal surges, and of course a raft of newsworthy magnitude 5+ quakes and volcanic eruptions. I suspect that high winds may be this particular SuperMoon’s strong suit – think typhoons and hurricanes, for example - but that’s not to downplay the other correlates.
It’s cosmic in scale and therefore global in scope of course, but the August 10 SuperMoon’s astro-locality map shows a few areas of special vulnerability. These include a horizon arc that runs through the Pacific Northwest and the east African coast, and a couple of longitudinal arcs from the southern tip of Greenland through eastern Brazil in the western hemisphere and from Siberia due south down through central Australia in the eastern hemisphere. Do not feel complacent if you’re not in one of these zones during the August 5-13 geocosmic shock window. The skies, seas and crust of the whole planet respond to a SuperMoon, so there’s not place that’s completely off the target list. Being ready for heavy weather should be de rigueur at times like this. If traveling, be aware of the likelihood that schedules will be disrupted by weather-related delays – especially with the Mercury Max going on at the time. Have alternatives, double-check everything!"

Develop melanin slowly, by tanning a little each day to build up the pigment in your skin, and stay out of the sun during days like today when a CME (Coronal Mass Ejection) from the sun is occurring. Today is the heart of some very powerful aspects between Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto, The Grand Cardinal Cross.
This big Cardinal alignment of the summer reaches a peak this week with Saturn already having moved into position and Mars and the Moon lining up as well.

How are We doing?

How are We All doing after the Solar Eclipse? I have noticed lots of changes in these last 11 days, and many more to come- that's for sure! Those abusing power are starting to fall, slowly rolling downhill, like a snowball, picking up more speed, and accumulating more snow, as it rolls downward. Earth changes speeding up, faster all the time! Did you notice how many earthquakes yesterday? Follow the USGS Seismic Monitor on this blog, and you will see how many occur every day! Hurricane season, torrential rainstorms and tornado's are happening more now than ever... not to mention a few big oil spills!

If you look back to that time in your life, and compare it to your life today, can you see how far you have come? Then the next Solar Eclipse like this one will be in 2029. America the Beautiful is a patriotic hymn that originated as a poem written by Katharine Lee Bates in the summer of 1893 after a trip to Colorado Springs, and particularly inspired by her view from Pikes Peak. The poem first appeared in The Congregationalist in 1895 and was set to music months later. Bates simplified the text in 1904 and made changes to the third stanza years later to create the words that are known today. From over seventy musical settings, the one now best known was written by S. A. Ward. Many citizens have lobbied Congress to make it the national anthem. The beloved hymn was performed frequently following the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001. Thank God I am an Awesome American!

BURSTING THE BONDS OF OUR LOWER HUMAN EGO

In the past few mailings I have been discussing the opportunity that is being provided this summer for Humanity to free ourselves from the paralyzing grip of our lower human egos. It is impossible for us to grasp the magnitude of what it will mean in our lives when this fear-based, fragmented aspect of our personality is no longer manipulating and controlling us through fear and the belief in lack and limitation. Since our fall from Grace aeons ago, the vast majority of Humanity has been functioning from the distorted belief that our human egos and our physical bodies are who we are, and that the physical plane of Earth is all that exists. In reality, nothing could be further from the Truth.We are multidimensional and multifaceted Sons and Daughters of God, and we have been invested with the creative faculties of thought and feeling, as well as the gift of free will. The Divine Intent of these gifts is for us to become cocreators with our Father-Mother God by learning to create patterns of perfection in the physical world of form, thus manifesting the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. For millennia our human egos have fought tooth and nail to keep us from remembering this Truth. Our egos know that once we remember who we truly are, we will give our God Selves dominion of our Earthly bodies once again. Then our egos will no longer be able to manipulate our lives. Our human egos were formed Ages ago because we made the tragic decision to misqualify our gift of Life through negative thoughts, words, actions, and feelings. The dense and discordant frequencies of energy that were created by these negative expressions caused us to fall into such low vibrations that we lost conscious awareness of our God Selves and the Company of Heaven. We forgot that we are Children of God embodied on this planet to learn how to cocreate the wonders of Heaven on Earth. Without this sacred knowledge we developed a lower consciousness through which we formed an alternative perception of reality to try to explain our existence. This lower consciousness gradually evolved into our fragmented human egos. Our lower egos believe that they are in charge of our lives and that their purpose and reason for being is to gratify our physical senses. They also believe that whatever they need to do to fulfill that objective is appropriate, even if it means lying, cheating, stealing, or killing. Our human egos are mutated aspects of our personality that actually believe they have the right to do whatever is necessary to maintain control of our lives. To confirm this Truth, just think of the myriad times you have tried to improve your life by making positive changes and the incredible resistance you received from your ego. For instance, when you make a commitment to improve your diet, don't you immediately start craving everything you are not supposed to eat? When you decide to develop prosperity consciousness instead of focusing on lack and limitation, don't your financial challenges all of the sudden seem even more overwhelming? When you choose to live in harmony, don't things seem to surface out of the blue to push your buttons and make you angry? And worst of all, think of the interference you received from your ego when you began to awaken and truly remember that you are a Beloved Child of God. How many times after accepting that Truth about yourself did your brain chatter and your self talk say things like, “Who do you think you are kidding? Your life is in shambles. Your relationships are a mess, and you can't even pay your bills. How could you possibly be a Beloved and empowered Child of God?” All of these things are your human ego’s attempt to block your forward progress, because your ego knows that once your God Self takes command of your life it will no longer be able to manipulate or control you.For lifetimes the lies and interference from our human egos have trapped us and kept us from accepting the Truth of who we are and why we are on Earth. But this is a New Day, and the winds of change are upon us. People everywhere are awakening, and as they do they are reconnecting with their God Selves and lifting up in consciousness. This is creating an unstoppable shift of vibration that is affecting every man, woman, and child on Earth in a very positive way. Step by step, the adverse conditions of our fall from Grace are being reversed, and now we are being called to a higher service by our Father-Mother God and the entire Company of Heaven.The Beings of Light in the Realms of Illumined Truth have revealed that through innumerable activities of Light, which were victoriously accomplished through the unified efforts of the entire Company of Heaven and the embodied Lightworkers, Humanity has reached a frequency of vibration that will allow us to shatter the paralyzing grip our human egos have had on our physical bodies and our hearts and minds since our fall from Grace. The wheels for this wondrous unfolding Divine Plan have been set into motion, and we are now in the midst of the final stages of preparation.On June 21st, we experienced a very powerful Solstice in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres of Earth. The energy from this influx of Light built in momentum paving the way for a rare and very powerful Full Moon Lunar Eclipse, which took place on June 26th. This celestial event involved not only the Lunar Eclipse which always creates a tremendous amplification of Divine Light, but also a very rare alignment of seven planets in a Grand Cross formation. There are literally hundreds of reports circulating on the Internet from spiritual astrologers who are talking about the powerful opportunities we are experiencing this summer. I have actually been reading about the astrological impact of the Lunar and Solar Eclipses and the planetary alignments that will take place during the summer of 2010 for several years. Allow the Divinity within your heart to expand and expand as you read these words with an open heart and an open mind. Miracles are happening and we are receiving more assistance from the Company of Heaven than ever before.The two weeks between the Lunar Eclipse and the Grand Cross planetary alignment on June 26th, and the Solar Eclipse that will take place on July 11th, will be a very intense time of purging, releasing, and purification. This will be true for each of us individually and for all Humanity collectively. Our God Selves will guide us through whatever experiences we personally need to help us raise our vibrations beyond the grasp of our human egos. Together we will form a mighty transformer of Light through which the Light of God will pour to open the 5th-Dimensional Portal of Liberty, Divine Justice, Freedom, Victory, and the Violet Flame of God’s Infinite Perfection. Our Father-Mother God and the Company of Heaven have revealed that the infinite power of these Divine Qualities are the key to raising the energy, vibration, and consciousness of Humanity’s physical, etheric, mental, and emotional bodies effectively enough to burst the bonds our human egos have used to manipulate and control us for aeons of time. Lunar Eclipse Changes

The Lunar Eclipse yesterday, June 26 opened the door for our success and transition into a brand new environment with career/business opportunities. June 25, 26, 27, 28 are now a major series of back to back changes. The Sun opposition Pluto on Friday the 25, shining the light on Pluto's emphasis of business/government/industry. The Full Moon on June 26, a Lunar Eclipse, at 4' Cancer/4' Capricorn, with Jupiter and Uranus squaring this Lunar Eclipse, Grand Cross heightening the high tide of events. Mercury opposes Pluto today, Sunday the 27, bringing information forward that's been the undercurrent of events, now coming into view. This new visibility shows situations that are now under scrutiny. The Sun connects with Mercury at 6' Cancer tomorrow, Monday the 28, which opens the floodgates of information that provides karma for many people, positions, situations that have been misusing their power and impacting people in a negative way. Their arrogance and ego issues begin to be seen in the spotlight. These events seem to fall like rain, being the very events that flow into a new generation of Uranus in Aries creating a completely different environment for us all!

Eclipse Eve

In the morning, June 26, thus following the opening of the spiritual portal of Solstice, a partial lunar eclipse at 4° Capricorn conjuncts Pluto, adding a very personal & emotional connection to the powerful energies of the outer & social planets and activates a powerful astrological Cardinal Grand Cross. A Grand Cross is when at least four planets occupy astrological positions that square each other – like the four points of a cross. Tomorrow, the placements are in Cardinal signs denoting new beginnings, instead of 4 planets, over the course of the next month, there are 7 planetary bodies involved. On this occasion the conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus in Aries and the square between Uranus and Pluto in Capricorn. This rare and profound relationship ushers the potential of socio-economic transformation in a death-rebirth, dissolution-resolution process. If your own personal Sun and Moon- as mine are!- are aligned with it, you will be especially challenged by this process. Jupiter/Uranus conjunction takes place every 14 years and marks the end of a great cycle. For me, as for many people, it has created the feeling that I am in a cocoon, the caterpillar that I have been for this last cycle has dissolved and the potential butterfly that I may become, has yet to be. By the time the conjunction becomes exact again for its final energetic impulse on September 18, the Grand Cross will have moved on and so the new beginnings will be starting to manifest. One of the aspects of this alignment that may be very significant is the emergence into the mainstream of worldview that has been percolating through the holistic movement for so long. A paradigm of the oneness of the Cosmos as co-creation of cosmic mind- and a new vision based on raising of our consciousness rather than specific teachings, understanding rather than ‘belief’.

2010, being the 100th year of celebrating Fathers Day in the USA is special indeed. Most countries do not even have a Fathers Day, yet most other countries do have a Mothers Day, or Womens Day. It is significant that Fathers Day falls the Day before Solstice- Sol being the Sun, which has always been masculine, a Father, while the moon, Luna being feminine, a Mother. Sol, also a god in some cultures, we see even now as sun worshippers...

This is also my Dad's Birthday- we always had a great time celebrating his Birthday as well as Fathers Day- He was an exceptional Dad! He had a saying: Some children are grown like weeds, with no care- they just grow up. His children were raised, and tenderly cared for, like a garden.

The signs are interpreted as follows:

The First Sign is of guns.

The Second Sign is of the pioneers' covered wagons.

The Third Sign is of longhorn cattle.

The Fourth Sign describes the railroad tracks.

The Fifth Sign is a clear image of our electric power and telephone lines.

The Sixth Sign describes concrete highways and their mirage-producing effects.

The Seventh Sign foretells of oil spills in the ocean.

The Eighth Sign may indicate the "Hippie Movement" of the 1960s.

The Ninth Sign was the U.S. Space Station Skylab, which fell to Earth in 1979. According to Australian eye-witnesses, it appeared to be burning blue.

Another Hopi prophecy warns that nothing should be brought back from the Moon -- obviously anticipating the Apollo 11 mission that returned with samples of lunar basalt. If this was done, the Hopi warned, the balance of natural and universal laws and forces would be disturbed, resulting in earthquakes, severe changes in weather patterns, and social unrest. All these things are happening today, though of course not necessarily because of Moon rocks.
The Hopi also predicted that when the "heart" of the Hopi land trust is dug up, great disturbances will develop in the balance of nature, for the Hopi holy land is the microcosmic image of the entire planet; any violations of nature in the Four Corners region will be reflected and amplified all over the Earth."

The Nine Dimensions

This is a very clear & concise outline of the 9 dimensions on Earth:

The Nine Dimensions: On Monday's Coast to Coast show, astrologer, author, and expert in the Mayan Calendar, Barbara Hand Clow talked about the nine dimensions of human consciousness, which she first learned about during her channeling of Pleiadian beings. According to her sources, each of the nine dimensions carries special information:
1st Dimension: an iron core crystal in the center of our planet that holds the Akashic Records.
2nd Dimension: the realm of consciousness between the iron core crystal and the crust of the planet, including magma, telluric realm, and volcanic forces.
3rd Dimension: linear space & time-- the dimension we are most familiar with.
4th Dimension: the canopy that forms over our body-- the collective mind, an aggregate of our thoughts & feelings, and also the realm in which the global elite's control patterns are operating.
5th Dimension: unconditional love, the opening of the heart-- must overcome duality of the 4th Dimension to access.
6th Dimension: sacred geometry and the world of forms; crop circles are an example.
7th Dimension: sound-- creates the geometry in the 6th Dimension.
8th Dimension: divine mind and consciousness.
9th Dimension: time codes of the Mayan calendar-- a calendar for evolution for everything that exists.
Around 12,000 years ago, we humans lost access to these higher dimensions of consciousness due to the cataclysmic events that struck the Earth, she explained. When people are able to activate the nine dimensions of consciousness, they have "achieved an alchemical transmutation," she added. The Pleiadians said that by October 2011, our reality would be "permeated by the full bore blast of the nine dimensions of consciousness," and people would move into higher levels of awareness, Hand Clow recounted. However, in the short term, she foresees June and July 2010 as being difficult chaotic periods, astrologically tied in with eclipses and the summer solstice.

Memorial Day

A SOLDIER DIED TODAY

He was getting old and paunchy and his hair was falling fast,
And he sat around the Legion, telling stories of the past
Of a war that he had fought in and the deeds that he had done,
In his exploits with his buddies; they were heroes, every one.
And tho' sometimes, to his neighbors, his tales became a joke,
All his Legion buddies listened, for they knew whereof he spoke.
But we'll hear his tales no longer for old Bill has passed away,
And the world's a little poorer, for a soldier died today.
He will not be mourned by many, just his children and his wife,
For he lived an ordinary and quite uneventful life.
Held a job and raised a family, quietly going his own way,
And the world won't note his passing, though a soldier died today.
When politicians leave this earth, their bodies lie in state,
While thousands note their passing and proclaim that they were great.
Papers tell their whole life stories, from the time that they were young,
But the passing of a soldier goes unnoticed and unsung.
Is the greatest contribution to the welfare of our land
A guy who breaks his promises and cons his fellow man?
Or the ordinary fellow who, in times of war and strife,
Goes off to serve his Country and offers up his life?
A politician's stipend and the style in which he lives
Are sometimes disproportionate to the service that he gives.
While the ordinary soldier, who offered up his all,
Is paid off with a medal and perhaps, a pension small.
It's so easy to forget them for it was so long ago,
That the old Bills of our Country went to battle, but we know
It was not the politicians, with their compromise and ploys,
Who won for us the freedom that our Country now enjoys.
Should you find yourself in danger, with your enemies at hand,
Would you want a politician with his ever-shifting stand?
Or would you prefer a soldier, who has sworn to defend
His home, his kin and Country and would fight until the end?
He was just a common soldier and his ranks are growing thin,
But his presence should remind us we may need his like again.
For when countries are in conflict, then we find the soldier's part
Is to clean up all the troubles that the politicians start.
If we cannot do him honor while he's here to hear the praise,
Then at least let's give him homage at the ending of his days.
Perhaps just a simple headline in a paper that would say,
Our Country is in mourning, for a soldier died today.

Enjoy today and Thank a Veteran! They are responsible for the many freedoms we have in our great country, USA! That is why we memorialize these Heros on Memorial Day. Go to a National Cemetery and notice the headstones- most of our Warriors who gave their life were very young, notice that they also teach us about time, and timelessness!

Happy Mother's Day to all Mothers! Special Ladies with a Special Mission~ raising the next generation! It can be done right or wrong, but it is done, no way around it! National Day of Prayer

Today is National Day of Prayer in the United States of America! It has been a National Day of Prayer for many years, now I hear it is not. Well, I have news for whomsoever decided it is not- You are wrong! we will alway have a Day of Prayer, if you prohibit it- it will become a week of prayer, a month of prayer, an entire YEAR of prayer, yes, EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR PRAYER!!! This is the way AMERICANS think! If you think not, then you need to GET OUT!

7 YEARS

It has now been 7 years since the car accident. They said I would not walk or ever get out of the pain. "Just get used to it and take your drugs" they said. Not one of them thought I would get better. What is just amazing, if not purely a miracle, is that I did get better, and I got better without any medication, not even a tylenol. Without any surgery, even though I was recommended to get a few! Without any injections, or any other invasive treatment. Intuitively, I KNEW I would heal, that I could heal within, without outside intervention. I also had the best natural healing team on Earth! May Day

May Day, May Day! All the children are happy today! Many different celebrations are held today, the first day in May. Remember the Maypole? Singing songs, dancing around the pole and wrapping the ribbons around and around, until it is braided with beautiful colors! What fun we had! Our mothers standing by and clapping for us, dancing and laughing along with us!

This is the month of Mothers! Let your mother know you love her- before actual Mother's Day! All the mothers of our life are honored this month! Even, and especially- Mother Earth!

Springtime Storms in the Rockies

WOW! Some severe weather here, first rain, lightning and thunder, then hail, then cold wind, followed by a foot or two of wet, heavy snow dumped all at once, then blizzard with horizontal snow, then back to 50 mph wind, and finally some sun shining through at sunset today! All this in 24 hours! Earth Changes are happening, and seem to be speeding up lately...

Today is a unique day. We have 13 hours and 13 minutes of daylight! It comes once a year! Tonight we also have the meteor shower, as well. Yes, a very unique day and night indeed.

Can you imagine what it was like to be humiliated, flogged, killed as Jesus was? He was only in the tomb overnight, because on the 3rd day, he rose from the dead- this being the triumphant ending-beginning of his saga. Holy Thursday was his last supper with his friends-disciples, Good Friday he was put through the tortures and died, Holy Saturday, he was laid to rest, and all is quiet in the tomb (at least until morning...) that Miracle Morning which is Easter!

International Women's Day, March 8

On this day it is customary for men to give the women in their lives - mothers, grandmothers, wives, girlfriends, daughters, sisters, colleagues, etc - flowers and small gifts. In some countries in Europe it is also observed as an equivalent of Mother's Day, where children also give small presents to their mothers and grandmothers. In 1975, which had been designated as International Women’s Year, the United Nations gave official sanction to and began sponsoring International Women's Day. Now, it appears they are making a political statement, by giving creedence to women working, as in a socialist party.
In America, and I hope, everywhere else all over the World, Women are celebrated for the Beautiful and Special people that we are! Having been a career woman all my life, I appreciate the fact that I have the freedom to work, but also, being a wife and mother, it is really nice when others recognize and appreciate the liberty of the most important work of a woman's life as well- birthing and raising the children! Now I also can share that being a Nana, Grandmother, Matriarch is moving along the path to more important work- that of loving the children, no matter what, and passing on the wisdom of the ages- divine justice for a life well lived!
Celebrate and Honor at least ONE important Woman in your life today!

Luckiest Day of 2010!

Today is the luckiest day of the year! Jupiter, the planet of luck, conjuncts (aligns) with the Sun today, and then also tonight is a full moon in Virgo, with Sun in Pisces. Seems like a lot going on in the Cosmos? You bet! Very Lucky and Fortunate for us all! We can Intend for what we want and it will come to us... soon! That is SuperIntending... manifesting at it's best!

Love is in the air! We celebrate Valentine's Day, the Day of Love, and Chinese New Year as well.
The day is cold here, but it is bright, letting us remember young love and it's bright future.

2010 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony in Vancouver, B.C.

The Opening Ceremony for the Winter Olympics in Canada was awesome! They respected the Sacred Ceremony by Honoring the Aboriginal Tribes of the area, and the land of Canada and North America, in general. The special effects were fantastic, the athletes impressive, and the talent was obvious in the set- which was the entire stadium. It was poetic, artistic and a feast for the eyes. It was also a tribute to the athlete from Georgia, Russia, who died yesterday in the luge practice run. I enjoyed watching the entire show, it was truly a good send off for the games!

Superbowl Sunday

I am not a football fan, or any ball fan for that matter... but my favorite son was born on Superbowl Sunday, so I entertain (endure?) the ball mania for him! This year, I thought the Saints were the underdogs, so... feeling sorry for the underdogs, I decided secretly I would like to see them win- and they did! Good for them! OK, now can we have some peace already?

New Moon, Solar Eclipse

A thin ring of the sun's disk can still be seen all the way around the dark moon during this kind of event, known as an annular eclipse (from "annulus," Latin for "ring"). Today's New Moon is in Capricorn, ruler of diligence and discipline. This New Moon is an "annular" solar eclipse (not a total eclipse), but it's influence is long-lasting because it is the longest in duration of any solar eclipse since 1992. It will be most visible in Africa and eastern Asia but it will have a strong influence on the rest of us as well. Eclipses do not affect everyone the same way, and not everyone will be affected by every eclipse. But they tend to have the effect of unmasking or revealing something which has been hidden, and at this New Moon there is an opportunity to wipe the slate clean and begin something completely new.
Mercury turns direct today, signaling that it's time to give birth to the ideas that have been circulating during the retrograde period.
