Solar X Flares
Our sun shot out a CME (coronal mass ejection) or solar X flare, as you can see in the measurement graph. NASA also took spectacular pictures of the flare leaving the sun, check them out at NASA.gov "Over the July 14-15, 2012 weekend and through the early morning of July 16, Earth experienced what's called a geomagnetic storm, which happens when the magnetic bubble around Earth, the magnetosphere, quickly changes shape and size in response to incoming energy from the sun. In this case that energy came from a coronal mass ejection (CME) associated with a July 12 X-class flare. Geomagnetic storms can create aurora visible at lower latitudes than usual, and aurora were spotted in the US as far south as Missouri and Arkansas."

Colorado Wildfire- Waldo Canyon fire in Colorado Springs
We have been busy the last few days, making an evacuation kit, packing, making sure everyone we know and love is safe, and never knowing when it is our turn to evacuate- the entire west side of town is evacuated, including most of the mountain area, as well as the Air Force Academy- extending almost halfway to Denver! The Firefighters are battling this wildfire feverishly night and day, it is a towering inferno of epic proportions- as a Coloradoan, I have NEVER seen anything like this! Pray for the firefighters, the evacuees, and us all! We appreciate it, Thank You! Rain would also be VERY welcome!

Summer Solstice
Solstice 2012 is here, the longest day of the year! In England, the most celebrated time is now, when many Druids, and modern groups gather at Stonehenge to watch the rising of the sun over the stone monument as it lines up with the outer heel stone. It has been a sacred time for the ancient Celtic people for millenia. It has also been named Midsummer, and tonight is the midsummer's night dream! Your dream will come true- what you intend manifests for you (and me)!
Molly Hall of about.com writes "Now is the time for ripening of what was set in motion at Spring Equinox, going with the solar rhythm of seasonal intention setting. Friends in the Southern Hemisphere experience June solstice as the longest night, for soulful reflection on life's work and legacy."

New Moon in Gemini
New Moon in Gemini is a double dose of Gemini, but it seems only fitting that this would be, since Gemini is the twins, and must have 2 of everything! This Gemini moon is a second dose (after the Solar eclipse/Gemini New Moon on May 21st). Time to do something new during this new moon, some call this a blue new moon, since it is the second one in Gemini in this Lunar Cycle. 2nd chance?

Full Moon Partial Lunar Eclipse
Today, which is 2 weeks from the last eclipse, is another eclipse. Eclipses travel in pairs, first on the New Moon, is the Solar Eclpse, which we saw on May 20, then on the Full Moon, is the Lunar Eclipse. Both times are great for Intentions & Manifesting! The energy is sometimes hard to handle, but handle it we must, rather than the energy getting the best of us. Usually eclipses are lucky, but sometimes difficult, nonetheless.

New Moon Solar Eclipse
This is the rare May 20, 2012 Annular Solar Eclipse with the Pleiades on a Mayan Day of No Shadows that opens a two week eclipse window ending with the partial Lunar Eclipse on June 4 followed the next day by the June 5 Venus Transit over the Sun (visible in the western United States and Hawaii) a special event that will not happen again for 105 years!
This is an annular solar eclipse, when the moon and sun align today, creating a "ring of fire" around the moon because of the sun being the larger size, also called ring of fire because it is literally in the pacific ring of fire area. Astronomers say that today's (May 20) solar eclipse will be the best the United States has seen since 1992. "The moon is going to cover 80 or 90 percent of the sun for all of the middle and western United States," Dr. Douglas Duncan, Director of Fiske Planetarium at the University of Colorado, Boulder said in a video about the event on his blog. Colorado is not in direct alignment with this celestial event, as best views are in Northern California, Nevada, Southern Utah, Northern Arizona and New Mexico, still, Colorado's southwest corner should get a pretty good view, take a look at this map for the solar eclipse's path over the United States or this NASA built map showing the path of the annular solar eclipse and where it is viewable across the globe.
(Great time for Intending at The Intenders Of The Highest Good Circle tonight!) Happy Intending!
It will still be stunning to see in the rest of Colorado. Here is today's Eclipse/Intending schedule:

St George's Day
From Wikipedia:
St George's Day is celebrated by the several nations, kingdoms, countries, and cities of which Saint George is the patron saint. St George's Day is celebrated on 23 April, the traditionally accepted date of Saint George's death in AD 303. For Eastern Orthodox Churches who use the Julian calendar, 23 April corresponds to 6 May on the Gregorian calendar.
As Easter often falls close to St George's Day, the church celebration of the feast may be moved from 23 April. In 2011 and 2014, the Anglican and Catholic calendars celebrate St George's Day on the first Monday after Easter Week (2 May and 28 April, respectively). Similarly, the Eastern Orthodox celebration of the feast moves accordingly to the first Monday after Easter or, as it is else called, to the Monday of Bright Week.
Celebrations
Countries that celebrate St George's Day include England, Canada, Catalonia, Croatia, Portugal, Cyprus, Greece, Georgia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Republic of Macedonia. Cities include Moscow in Russia, Genova in Italy, Ljubljana in Slovenia, Beirut in Lebanon, Qormi and Victoria in Malta and many others. It is also celebrated in the old Crown of Aragon in Spain—Aragon, Catalonia, Valencia, and Majorca

Supermoon Saturday! 5-5-5
Supermoon Saturday is here! Today is 5-5-5 as well in numerology dates. The full moon is in Perigee, which is the closest time of alignment to the earth. Tonight's "supermoon" is the biggest and brightest full moon of the year, due to the fact that the moon is near the closest point in its orbital path around Earth. Richard Nolle of Astropro.com coined the name of Supermoon in 1979, and used these moons to predict natural disasters of all types, not just from rising tides. He says that SuperMoons are noteworthy for their close association with extreme tidal forces working in what astrologers of old used to call the sublunary world: the atmosphere, crust and oceans of our home planet - including ourselves, of course. From extreme coastal tides to severe storms to powerful earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, the entire natural world surges and spasms under the sway of the SuperMoon alignment - within three days either way of the exact syzygy, as a general rule. SuperMoon solar eclipses tend to have a wider sphere of impact, extending roughly a week before and after the actual event. And other lunar extremes (of declination, for example) can extend the geocosmic stress window by a day or two here and there in any case.

May the Fourth be with You
Today, being the 4th of May, is also known as Star Wars Day! We can remember all the great Star Wars movies and tell everyone we meet today "May the Fourth be with You" as we make a light saber gesture! I have seen all the Star Wars movies several, if not numerous times- even the newest 3D version! Love them all! We are now living the storyline of Star Wars- even some recent political speeches have excerpts of the lines from these movies. Don't worry, as the legend goes- truth always triumphs over evil.

Friday the 13th & THE Number 13
13 is the original number of colonies that formed the United States. The original flag had 13 stars, one for each state. New stars have since been added whenever a new state joins the union, but the idea of adding stripes for new states was soon dropped, so the American flag to this day has 13 horizontal stripes: 6 white ones and 7 red ones. But the number 13 always became a number related to our country's symbols.
The Great Seal is one perfect example, as there have been 13:
Stripes on the Seal's emblem
Leaves on the olive branch (as well as thirteen olives)
Arrows in the other grip
Characters making up the dictum, E Pluribus Unum
Characters making up the dictum, "Annuit cœptis"
Breast coverts on the bird
Layers of bricks in the truncated pyramid
The number of guns in a gun salute to U.S. Army, Air Force and Marine Corps Major Generals, and Navy and Coast Guard Rear Admirals Upper Half.
This year, 2012, we have 3 Friday the 13th days, spaced 13 weeks apart! Truth is always stranger than fiction! Happy Friday 13th!

Happy Easter
Happy Easter to all today! The full pink moon is really making an awesome background in the sky for this holy weekend- Passover, Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday (also Holy Thursday, and Easter Monday). All the flowers seem to be pink at this time of year as well and the pastels of the colored eggs reflect the pink hue. It all says spring is here, Christ is risen and all is well with the world.

Leonardo's Earthshine Moon
Also known as the Moon's ashen glow, Earthshine is Earthlight illuminating the Moon's night side. Taken on Nowruz, the March 20 equinox, from Esfahan, Iran, planet Earth, this telescopic image captures strong Earthshine from an old Moon. The darker earthlit disk is in the arms of a bright sunlit crescent. But the view from the Moon would have been enchanting too. When the Moon appears in Earth's sky as a slender crescent, a dazzlingly bright, nearly full Earth would be seen from the lunar surface. The Earth's brightness due to reflected sunlight is known to be strongly influenced by cloud cover. Still, a description of Earthshine, in terms of sunlight reflected by Earth's oceans in turn illuminating the Moon's dark surface, was written 500 years ago by Leonardo da Vinci. He used backward or mirror writing to document his discoveries to keep most of them secret, but his drawings are exquisite, as everyone can see!

Time for Springing into our fertile future, the seeds of our intentions are now sprouting seedlings and rising toward the sun in growth of manifesting & becoming!

Spring Equinox & New Moon Intentions
At Intenders of the Highest Good Circle last night, we made our intentions for the upcoming spring season, mentioning that the spring equinox (Tues) & new moon (Thurs) are the best times for intentions to seed. This post from Molly Hall, astrologer reflects our thoughts precisely! Intend & Enjoy!
There's a nature bursting forth atmosphere this week, starting with Spring Equinox, marked by Sun into first sign Aries. It's the astrological new year!
Looking at the solar calendar, the Spring Equinox, when day and night are equal, is one of the four big turning points of the year. The rhythm of the seasons are a chance to seed and develop your most longed-for intentions.
Seasonal Intention Setting:
•Spring Equinox (March 19) is the time of conception, to put forth intentions that are most meaningful and desired.
•At Summer Solstice (June 20), what's in development is ripened and brought to tangible form.
•Autumnal Equinox (September 22) begins a time of refining, streamlining, weighing what's taking shape.
•Winter Solstice (December 21) takes us into restful musing on how to share what's been created, as a legacy and contribution to the whole.
It's a momentous time for any on-the-ball intention setters out there. But if it's snuck up on you, like it has for me, this entire week of the darkening Moon is for super alert soul searching. The Aries New Moon is Thursday, and the three days after, extend the intention-setting window. My philosophy is better not to set intentions, if they're a rush job. Take time to choose goals that are achievable and are rooted in your overall sense of life purpose.
Of course, a big part of experiencing the New Moon mystique is surrender and being receptive to something to emerge out of the dark. If you're overwhelmed, or don't have definite intentions, resting and tuning inward is always a wise approach. Happy Spring Equinox and New Moon to you all!

Happy St Patrick's Day
Green is Good today! St Patrick is the old Saint who banned the snakes (serpents) from the Emerald Isle. It is said that Ireland has no more snakes, but how can an entire island have not one snake? I don't believe it. I think that the serpent is a symbol for health, healing and wise ones who are the healers. The Celts, who are the original Irish were very advanced healers- their books of medicine still have not been translated, their language is so ancient!
St Patrick brought Christianity to Ireland, but the Irish (Celts) were already in the Holy Land, prior to this. St Patrick's Day is a special bridge transforming winter into spring, so green, whether it is a green snake, the Emerald Isle, the green of spring or the green-colored glow of healing is good! It's all good!

International Women's Day
International Women's Day is today, also known as Lady Day (which I like better). The whole month of March is Women's Month, now known as Women's History Month (Shouldn't it be Herstory Month?) I like to recognize and celebrate this day and month by honoring the great women in my life! The men are supposed to honor us, as women, but we can't always wait for that, can we?
This is from internationalwomensday.com
The tradition sees men honoring their mothers, wives, girlfriends, colleagues, etc with flowers and small gifts. In some countries IWD has the equivalent status of Mother's Day where children give small presents to their mothers and grandmothers.
The new millennium has witnessed a significant change and attitudinal shift in both women's and society's thoughts about women's equality and emancipation. Many from a younger generation feel that 'all the battles have been won for women' while many feminists from the 1970's know only too well the longevity and ingrained complexity of patriarchy. With more women in the boardroom, greater equality in legislative rights, and an increased critical mass of women's visibility as impressive role models in every aspect of life, one could think that women have gained true equality. The unfortunate fact is that women are STILL not paid equally to that of their male counterparts, women still are not present in equal numbers in business or politics, and globally women's education, health and the violence against them is worse than that of men.
However, great improvements have been made. We do have women astronauts and prime ministers, school girls are welcomed into university, women can work and have a family, women have real choices. And so the tone and nature of IWD has, for the past few years, moved from being a reminder about the negatives to a celebration of the positives.
Annually on March 8, thousands of events are held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate achievements. A global web of rich and diverse local activity connects women from all around the world ranging from political rallies, business conferences, government activities and networking events through to local women's craft markets, theatrical performances, fashion parades and more.
Many global corporations have also started to more actively support IWD by running their own internal events and through supporting external ones. For example, on March 8 search engine and media giant Google some years even changes its logo on its global search pages. Year after year IWD is certainly increasing in status. The United States even designates the whole month of March as 'Women's History Month'.
So make a difference, think globally and act locally !! Make everyday International Women's Day. Do your part to ensure that the future for girls is bright, equal, safe and rewarding.

Happy Valentines Day or Week!
How did Valentine's Day 2012 go? It is the Day of Love & I was so busy that no blog got done! The hormones and neurotransmitters in the brain are still working, though...
I read that most people are celebrating on the weekend, especially since this weekend is long due to presidents day weekend. So, I thought why not have a Valentine's Week this year!

Leo Full Moon
This is the night of the Leo Full Moon! Still roaring? The blowing snow has been for the last few days here in Colorado! It's all about the ego in the emotional realm. The Lion has a BIG ego- being the king of the jungle and all that... which tells us we can tame our ego now if we want to, or we can choose to be egotistical! More later...

2012- Year of the Water Dragon
Tomorrow is the Chinese New Year, The Year of the Water Dragon. See http://www.granthealthseminars.blogspot.com/ for a seminar on this special year!
Many people know how powerful this year (2012) is for our new intentions, the year of the dragon is always powerful for intention & manifestation- below, Suzanne Metzger relates how the dragon symbol is assisted by Feng Shui:
Dragons are known to have supernatural powers. They are the ultimate symbol of success and happiness. In China they represent the emperor and power. They move like lightening and are totally unpredictable. Like the Dragon, this year will be filled with drama, energy, and vitality that wasn't present last year. This is a Water year and the Dragon's natural abundance of the Wood element is fed by Water, which will increase the Dragon's natural strength and energy. The Water element will also add spirituality and intuition to the Dragon's power.
Meditation and other practices that unite you with Universal Oneness and strengthen your connection with all beings will soften the strong characteristics of the Dragon and help you to listen to the thoughts and opinions of others before making headstrong decisions.
On the economic level, we can expect improvement. However, it's important not to overspend, both personally and nationally, without careful consideration.
Before making important decisions that involve risk, take a deep breath, slow down and consider all of the possibilities carefully.
Dragons are sky creatures, related to heaven. They are known for bringing the attributes of Heaven to Earth. To access this power, visualize and focus on what you really want. This can help make even seemly unattainable dreams come true with dragon-like speed this year.
Dragons are also concerned with truth. If there's something you're holding back in your relationships, this is the time to open up and share your feelings and concerns rather than having them revealed suddenly without warning.
The Helpful People area of the Bagua symbolizes heaven in Feng Shui. Placing a Dragon in this area can help you to strengthen your relationship to the heavens and connect you more deeply to your spirituality.
To help you prepare for the Water Dragon
from a Feng Shui perspective:
* Clean your house before the 23rd. (Don't forget your stove!)
* Take care of neglected home repairs-or at least schedule them.
* Toss or fix anything broken or that's no longer used.
* Pay off old debts (or be clear and in communication about them).
The above actions will help you to release any
residual energy from last year--especially if
you've experienced loss or bad luck.
(Please note: If you can't complete these actions,
at least try to set them in motion.)
* Place a symbol that represents what you want to create for yourself on your front door. Traditional symbols are a fish for abundance, a dragon for power, and seeds or melons if you wish children. You can also create a personal symbol for whatever you are trying to manifest.
To strengthen this intention, also place a similar symbol in the area of the Bagua related to what you are trying to create. You'll get the best results if you focus on one important goal rather than several at once.
The days before the 23rd are an excellent time to begin or take even one small action toward anything you expect to begin before mid-April such as:
Beginning a new project or scheduling dates for future events.
Taking one or two steps toward handling your taxes.
Starting a new health regimen or fitness plan
Purchasing or selling expensive items
Hiring an employee
This will be a great year for people who are a bit flamboyant, dramatic, love social connection, and are attuned to the Dragon-and anyone who is willing to step into the energy!

Friday the 13th
The 1st Friday 13th of the new year-2012! This year there are 3 Friday the 13th's, which makes 2012 have triple luck! Are you feeling lucky? I sure am! Freya is the Norse goddess who Friday is named for, and 13 is her lucky number. Freya means Lady, as a fertility goddess, she is linked to the full moon. Furthermore, Cancer is her sign, and we are still in the energies of the Cancer full moon. It is said that when Freya cries, her tears turn to gold over the land & amber over the water, as they fall to the earth. Her necklace holds 4 stones of amber in gold, it is called the jewel whose power cannot be resisted- Brisingamen. Brising means fire- the fire of the enlightened mind, men means jewel. The winter constellation, Orion was called "Freya's Gown" by the Norse, the stars of Orion's belt is her girdle, or her crown, depending on the source of the legend- these are ancient legends. She rides a chariot drawn by blue cats given to her by Thor and takes fallen warriors to her palace in Valhalla. She is a goddess of beauty, truth, love, fertility and wealth. That's Lucky! She is the patroness of those women who attain wisdom, status, and power, since the Valkyries had been first ordinary women, then priestesses, and after being Valkyr became Norns, the Great Goddesses who weave the fates & histories of people and nations. Freya is the "Daughter of Time", who is also a patron and protectress of the human race.

1st Full Moon of 2012
The 1st Full Moon of 2012 is in the sign of Cancer. It was very big and yellow tonight. It is called the Wolf Moon. The wolves may be at the door most years at this time of year, due to the snow and cold, but this year, there have been record warm temperatures here in Colorado. The snow on the ski slopes in the moutains is minimal so far, this year. The wolves may be howling at the moon, but the cold is not biting, making them not so hungry as there is plenty of food for them outside. The squirrels and other small animals are still scurrying around.

Major Meteor Showers of 2012
Major Meteor Showers (2012)
Quadrantids
Comet of Origin: 2003 EH1 Radiant: constellation Bootes Active: Dec. 28, 2011-Jan. 12, 2012 Peak Activity: Jan. 4, 2012 Peak Activity Meteor Count: 120 meteors per hour Meteor Velocity: 25.5 miles (41 kilometers) per second
Notes: A waxing gibbous moon will set at about 3 a.m. local time, allowing for several dark-sky hours of observing before dawn. This shower has a very sharp peak, usually only lasting a few hours, and is often obscured by winter weather. The alternate name for the Quadrantids is the Bootids. Constellation Quadrant Murales is now defunct, and the meteors appear to radiate from the modern constellation Bootes.
Lyrids
Comet of Origin: C/1861 G1 Thatcher Radiant: constellation Lyra Active: April 16-25, 2012 Peak Activity: April 21-22, 2012 Peak Activity Meteor Count: 10-20 meteors per hour Meteor Velocity: 30 miles (49 kilometers) per second
Notes: A new moon on April 21 guarantees a dark sky in the late night and early morning hours, making this year ideal for observing from 10 p.m. to dawn. Lyrid meteors often produce luminous dust trains observable for several seconds.
Eta Aquarids
Comet of Origin: 1P Halley
Radiant: constellation Aquarius Active: April 19-May 28, 2012 Peak Activity: May 5-6, 2012 Peak Activity Meteor Count: 10 meteors per hour Meteor Velocity: 44 miles (66 kilometers) per second
Note: While the shower peaks an hour or two before dawn, the year's closest and largest full moon will be out all night, resulting in a moonlit sky that will wash out all but the brightest meteors. Meteor watchers in the Southern Hemisphere stand the best chance of seeing any meteors.
Delta Aquarids
Comet of Origin: unknown, 96P Machholz suspected Radiant: constellation Aquarius Active: July 12-Aug. 23, 2012 Peak Activity: July 28-29, 2012 Peak Activity Meteor Count: Approximately 20 meteors per hour Meteor Velocity: 25 miles (41 kilometers) per second
Notes: It's not a good year for the Delta Aquarids -- light from the August full moon make them nearly impossible to see.
Perseids
Comet of Origin: 109P/Swift-Tuttle Radiant: constellation Perseus Active: July 17-Aug. 24, 2012 Peak Activity: Aug. 12, 2012 Peak Activity Meteor Count: Approximately 100 meteors per hour Meteor Velocity: 37 miles (59 kilometers) per second
Notes: Moonlight won't be as big a problem as last year, as its waning crescent won't rise until after midnight, and the shower peaks from about 10-11 p.m. local on the night of Aug. 12.
Orionids
Comet of Origin: 1P/Halley Radiant: Just to the north of constellation Orion's bright star Betelgeuse Active: Oct. 2-Nov. 7, 2012 Peak Activity: Oct. 21, 2012 Peak Activity Meteor Count: Approximately 25 meteors per hour Meteor Velocity: 41 miles (66 kilometers) per second
Note: With the second-fastest entry velocity of the annual meteor showers, meteors from the Orionids produce yellow and green colors and have been known to produce an odd fireball from time to time.
Leonids
Comet of Origin: 55P/Tempel-Tuttle Radiant: constellation Leo Active: Nov. 6-30, 2012 Peak Activity: Night of Nov. 17, 2012 Peak Activity Meteor Count: Approximately 15 per hour Meteor Velocity: 44 miles (71 kilometers) per second
Note: The Leonids have not only produced some of the best meteor showers in history, but they have sometimes achieved the status of meteor storm. During a Leonid meteor storm, many thousands of meteors per hour can shoot across the sky. Scientists believe these storms recur in cycles of about 33 years, though the reason is unknown. The last documented Leonid meteor storm occurred in 2002.
Geminids
Comet of Origin: 3200 Phaethon Radiant: constellation Gemini Active: Dec. 4-17, 2012 Peak Activity: Dec. 13-14, 2012 Peak Activity Meteor Count: Approximately 120 meteors per hour Meteor Velocity: 22 miles (35 kilometers) per second
Note: The Geminids are typically one of the best, and most reliable, of the annual meteor showers. This year's peak falls perfectly with a new moon, guaranteeing a dark sky for the show in the nights on either side of the peak date. This shower is considered one of the best opportunities for younger viewers because the show gets going around 9 or 10 p.m.

Happy New Year!
Happy 2012! This is THE YEAR we all have been waiting for! Yes, we have been waiting for EONS! The Mayan Calendar, which was discovered in the ruins of the Mayan Pyramids of Mexico in the 60's is the impetus for this year, leading up to 12-21-12, when the Mayan Calendar ends. This, then is thought to be the end of the world, since the Mayans could not fit anything else on this megolith stone tablet! Of course, it is NOT the end of the world, but the beginning of a much BETTER world for us all! We are free of the Mayan Calendar on 12-21-12, and the next type of timekeeping will be much improved.
Even the Gregorian Calendar, which is what the world uses now, will be upgraded, and refined for the betterment of all the world. The Gregorian Calendar was decreed by Pope Gregory in 1582 because the Julian Calendar had drifted out of sync 10 days. The Gregorian calendar is so precise in tracking the solar year is is only off 26 seconds per year, it takes 3,323 years for the calendar to drift one day.
The deficiency of the Gregorian Calendar is that it is only tracking time from a solar perspective and has very little regard for any other cycles and seasons. This is evident when we consider our current calendric system arbitrarily begins on January 1 each year, which is 2 weeks after the winter solstice so it is not directly connected to a solar gateway. By creating a calendar that tracks the solar cycle it has the effect of fixating our consciousness on a very linear reality including the added benefit of connecting it to commerce as well…like when to pay taxes. The end result is a calendar that is a series of numbers in months of varying numbers of days that tell us what time it is in a primarily linear fashion.

We currently are not only linear people, we are now multidimensional beings, therefore it is fundamental that our calendric system be again upgraded to include the solar cycle, as well as other important cycles. Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas in 2011! This year has been full of Blessings that I am very grateful for~ the fact that we live free in the USA is high on the list! I am also very grateful for family, friends, health and wealth! The gifts given at this time of year are the symbols of appreciation for the present (time). Even though these seem to be hard times, the feelings of being blessed, loved and appreciated are accepted with the greatest gratitude, and are timeless!

Christmas Eve
Here we are at Christmas Eve already! The New Moon in Capricorn tonight is very auspicious for powerful intentions and manifestations to move out of this "old" year into the new year, smoothly, easily and effortless! Any new moon is great, but this one is especially spectacular because Santa is coming (even now he is being tracked by radar at NORAD) and we are all getting gifts. The present is always the gift we recieve...

The Geminids & Mercury Direct
Today, the Geminids are in the night sky, and Mercury goes direct, after being retrograde for 3 weeks. The meteors from the Geminid shower are slow moving in December and peak on Dec 13-14, with the highest intensity in the early morning of Dec 14. This shower seems to be intensifying every year and recent showers have 120–160 meteors/hour with optimal conditions, around 2am to 3am local time. Geminids were first observed only 150 years ago, much more recently than other showers such as the Perseids and Leonids. In those days, the Geminid meteor showers, arriving so close to Christmas, were revered by people as signs of peace and the prophecy of rebirth, some thought the Geminids brought fear, representing cleansing the human experience by our creator. With Mercury going direct and forward, maybe there was some Mercurial technique of how we have always been and continue to be "guided to our Soul," since Mercury, or Hermes, is known as "The Guide of Souls." Also known as the "Divine Trickster" giving the ability to coordinate, organize, put things together, understand the whole and the parts, seeing the process and the larger cycles of life. The better to see what is really important during this season!
